I will start out by saying we booked on priceline instead of directly with the hotel. We had not heard anything from the hotel, so we called to confirm that they were open and expecting us. The woman who answered the phone confirmed we were expected and that they were fully open. I was very excited, as I had always wanted to go to the Poconos and this was my Christmas present. After we looked over the website, we decided where we were going to eat and what to do. We called to see if we needed reservations since, due to covid, restaurants aren't at full capacity. She was very curt and said we did not. I specifically asked about Bistecca, the steak house, and she confirmed we did not. I then asked how full they were and she got very snippy with me and refused to answer the question and basically hung up on me. So not a good start. Communication from the employees was spotty. They charge a resort fee ($15) which includes valet.... but they don't tell you that. Instead they direct you to the self park which is very far away. You are told that there is no maid service or turn down service due to covid.. understandable, but again, so much could have been communicated prior to arrival to set expectations. Even the TV that had casino info had information for June and we were there in mid July. The directory in the room had no updates or a sheet telling you if covid changes. No maps if the resort or times places are open. Poor communications. The room was nice, not over the top. Unfortunately, we were on the second floor right by the entrance, so we had to keep the curtains shut for privacy and at night to shut out the outside lights. The bathroom was very nice, with a separate WC, nice shower, with 2 shower heads, one hand held, and nice toiletries. One day, we called for towels and waited 45 minutes and 2 calls to get them. Informed housekeeping was short staffed...I reminded them we didn't pay any less for less service. Now the rest of the place. The pool is great. It has a beautifully appointed inside solarium, which can get loud, but has some private cutouts. Outside is a smaller pool ( all connected should you want to swim under). There are cabanas, for an extra fee, but a lot of chairs. I would recommend a 10am arrival for your pick of chairs outside. Much later if you want to be in. The pool is heated. The hotel is very clean and pretty to walk around. The casino was nice. Although there were a lot of reviews that complained about smoke, we were there during mandatory face masking, so no smoking was allowed. So it was very nice. The dealers and floors were friendly and Oscar in the players club was the best employee that we came across (outside of restaurants). Now the restaurants. The pool has waitstaff that will bring food and drink. The rum runners were very nice on a hot day and the strawberry daiquiris were too good. The waitresses came around often enough that you didn't wait long, without pestering. The food was good for pool food. Bistecca, we had to eat at the bar because we didn't have reservations and the bartender, Brittany, was fantastic. We ate at Guy Fiere's restaurant, both times the food was great with excellent service. All in all, I would consider going back, but would also check out other resorts in the area. Restaurants did much better than the front desk and operators. Communicate people.... these guests are the reason you have jobs!

My wife and I have visited the resort numerous times and love it. Our only complaints is lack of food choices as well as the buffet serves the Same food every day. I spoke with the head chef and explained the need for a rotating menu to entice frequent visitors but that fell on deaf ears. Our second complaint is that the pool does get busy (due to outside sales of passes) and can get a bit edgy. That being said, the best part about this resort are the employees! The valets recognize us with a friendly smile every visit, the front desk is always warm and welcoming, and housekeeping always kind while keeping the rooms immaculate. The Johns squared(as we like to call them) at the bar, are always kind, inviting, and never forget you. One employee id like to recognize is Jason at the players club. He is consistently expressing genuine care for his guests at all times. The Team members here are the reason we don't go to Atlantic City(as we are closer there), land that is why we always come back!

I was pleasantly surprized how nice this casino is. It is a non smoking venue which is a major plus. The staff is very friendly. You are checked for temperature before entry. Social distancing has been taken into consideration with plexiglass dividers between machines and every other nachine not in service. Face masks are mandatory. The room was very ckean. A down side is the walls have ears and we were kept up with loud neighbors. The security did their best, but the neighbors continued once they left.

Went for a 2 day weekday getaway for our anniversary it was very nice resort but unaware of kids being able to stay there . Pool was vet noisy and getting splashed by kids while trying to relax and have a drink. Spa was amazing we had Swedish massage and it was very reasonable and the massage therapists were very nice .
