Featured in the New York Times, this lovely farm and quiet setting captures the essence and heart of Lancaster County. You will enjoy a homemade family-style breakfast followed by a hayride with Farmer Jim. Relax on the porch or play in the spacious yard. Your family can also experience the farm life by feeding the sheep and goats, playing with the cats and kittens, or gathering the eggs from the henhouse. Our bed and breakfast is conveniently located between Hershey and Amish country!

After being stuck at home for the last 6 months with our two young kids, our family needed a break and get away. We were so glad to have found Country Log House. Jodi and Jay were excellent hosts, and we can't wait to return again. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, it felt like a safe place to be. The house and room was incredibly clean, all meals were served outside on the covered wrap around porch, and we had our own table that our family used all weekend. Masks were required in the main areas of the home, and shoes came off outside the door. Breakfasts were excellent (great pancake reviews from my 7 year old!), and both my kids loved taking care of the farm animals and collecting eggs after breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed spending a couple of hours on the porch after the kids were asleep. There is so much to do in the area, and it's definitely worth a return trip. We look forward to coming back!

Me and my husband always loved going to Bed & Breakfasts. When we had our daughter that stopped since you are not allowed to bring children to the majority of them. So I decided to look to see if I could find any in Lancaster that would. We usually stay at a hotel but wanted to try something different this time. I am so glad we did!!! What an amazing time we all had. Especially my little girl! The house is absolutely lovely! So warm and inviting. And don’t even get me started on the breakfast!!! It was scrumptious! Better than a 5 star restaurant. We had so much fun feeding the animals and just enjoying the fresh air with these lovely people. We are already planning to come back!!! Thank you for an amazing time!!!! God Bless Dina Rizzo and family Xo

This place is great! We’ve visited 3 summers now, and each time we’ve been there, there have been other return guests as well. This past time, the family had been coming for 15 years. The house is clean, quiet and the breakfast is excellent. The animals on the farm (chickens, goats, sheep, kittens/cats) are well-cared for. There does appear to be a booking glitch on this site. It said days were unavailable, but I was able to get the weekend I wanted by reaching out to the owner directly.

We spent 3 nights at the Country Log House Farm B&B and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! The owners Jodi and Jay were wonderful hosts. They were helpful and available yet at the same time respected our privacy. The kids loved feeding the goats and sheep and collecting the eggs each morning. They played with the cats and there was a new litter of kittens which my oldest daughter fell in love with. We all enjoyed Farmer Jim's hayride and his jokes! We awoke to the smell of coffee brewing each day and Jodi's breakfast is amazing! The location is perfect as we were close to Lancaster and Hershey. The house is immaculately clean and the farm grounds are simply breathtaking. Thank you Jodi and Jay for opening up your home to us. We can't wait to come back!

We loved hosting your lovely family and also wished that you could have stayed longer! The kindness that your daughter showed to the kittens meant so much to us. She certainly has a gift to work with animals! When you need a break from your tropical paradise, please come back and stay with us at the farm. Thank you for the wonderful review!
