We stayed here because we were visiting family in the area. It is a very nice and clean campground. Pool is also very nice. Lots of seasonals. Employees are also very kind and helpful. We would definitely come back if we are ever in the area.

This place is immaculate, well groomed, maintained, and staffed with friendly folks. Lots of stuff to do onsite - pool, camping, games and more. Lots of local attractions, too. Great spot on the river to boat or fish from - or set out from. Came here for the first time in 1974. Still love it here in 2018!

We had heard about Driftstone from some friends and decided to make a weekend out of it. We are certainly glad that we did! From the moment we arrived, the folks at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Our campsite (we were tent camping) was pristine and ready for us to settle in. We brought our own water tubes and loved tubing in the channel that ran parallel to the campground. The kids spent two days straight in the river, only to take a break to play and win a softball game. There were always activities to jump in and join and everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. The Saturday night barn dance was fun, but the best part was knowing that our kids could just go anywhere on the property and play safely. It was truly a community! My fourteen -year -old is begging to go back, so we are planning a return trip next year if not sooner!

My husband and I came up from the jersey shore with our 2 dogs for a getaway weekend. We got a little lost and called for directions and the person answering got us back on track. She was very pleasant to talk to. When we arrived we were greeted by a staff member as we pulled in ( We've never experienced that at any campground). Check in was easy and staff very pleasant. Finding our spot was a bit tricky. We were assigned S18 and right next to us was S31,( a bit confusing). I did request a certain section before booking but they couldn't accommodate because of a bee problem. I wanted a section away from a lot of traffic, because 1 of my dogs bark at anyone who walks by, I guess I should have made that known, because we were put in the center of a circle next to the restrooms where there is a lot of traffic so I had to keep my dog in the camper most of the time. We kayaked and fished while there and thought is was very nice. My husband had no problem catching fish. Nice easy access putting our kayaks in the river, didn't have to leave the campground. We also enjoyed the night, it was very quiet. We saw security riding around checking out everything. Anyone we came in contact with was very nice. The pool was beautiful and well kept. Also the scenery was beautiful. We would definitely return but I would request a spot away from traffic.
