Friendly welcome, with comfortable rooms on offer. The accommodation is in a great location for walkers as a stop on the South West Coast Path. However, it has more to offer, so worth a two-night stay at least. Not only is Porthcurno the location for the Minack Theatre, but the Telegraph Museum two minutes walk away from the B&B is... More

Gorgeous B and B. The furnishings are in the best taste and of the finest quality. The linens on the bed are magnificent and so gorgeous to sleep in. There was no appointment that was not perfect. Chris let me have some breakfast since i was leaving before serving time. A kind gesture. Do know, though, that check-in is not... More

We had a lovely stay at Rockridge House. Chris Thornton is a great host who welcomed us warmly. The room we had was very spacious, and although the bathroom is not en-suite, it was our own so we weren't sharing with any other guests. Breakfast is served at the long kitchen table shown in the picture; it is a nice... More

We usually stay here when we go to Porthcurno, a couple times a year.Chris is an excellent host and makes you very welcome. The house is decorated to a very high standard, beds are very comfortable and the rooms tastefully decorated. Chris has done a great job. The breakfast was delicious and lots to eat and the full English was,... More

Stayed here whilst walking SW coast path. Lovely big room with sea view. Plentiful breakfast and a very friendly, helpfuk host. Great location and wonderfully peaceful. Big house which can cater for many guests courtesy of the very efficient host (Chris).

Chris was very accommodating and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very generous and it was great to hear some of the history of the area with Chris over a cup of tea. Wifi was fast and the rooms were clean. Would recommend.

We stopped here as part of a 47-mile walk from St. Ives to Penzance and back again. Our host, Chris, was friendly and readily available. He not only cooked us an amazing breakfast, but had great stories to tell about the local area. I highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I were on a walking trip, we walked 11 miles on the beautiful coastal trail, arrived tried, wet and chilled..everyplace was closed..check in was 4:00..it was 2:00. The host did not even invite us in to get dried off ...but sent us on a 15 minute walk back in the rain to a pub that was closed... More

It is very rare that Rockridge get guests that don't appreciate the fact that check-in is 4 o'clock and not before as all walking groups are told this by their tour organiser beforehand. Rockridge House is a bed & breakfast establishment. There are a lot of guests who are walking the coast path and are staying for one night only....this... More
