Welcome to the Myer Country Motel where for over 75 years our standards of innkeeping excellence have been our trademark. Nestled among the Pocono Mountains of North Eastern Pennsylvania, the cottages sit on four acres with blue spruce and white pine trees lining the courtyard. The Myer Country Motel was established in 1945 by Ralph and Matilda Myer. Ralph remarried in 1952 to Audubon Winfield and they together continued to run the motel well into their 80's until their daughter, Audubon Cox, took over in 1975. She brought her energy and knack for decorating to the motel to give it a country home feel. Many people comment that this is their "home away from home". In June 1995 the third generation took over to continue the family business. Today you'll find the same warm, country friendliness that has set us apart for over 75 years. We hope you will visit us soon!

I stopped here at last minute. The gentleman in the office was great I think he was the owner. I checked in. The place is older but quaint very very well kept and comfortable. I had called a couple other places and couldn't even understand the people answering the phones. I am glad to stay at a place where you can understand the person at the front desk.I like to support local and American. I plan on going back!!!

My wife and I travel through this area on our way south two or three times per year. There is no finer, cleaner and friendly place to stay than the Myer Motel. The quaint cottages are very well maintained and charming. A locally and family owned business, Sharon and Craig do an outstanding job with the upkeep of every unit. If you have never stayed here, you owe it to yourself to plan to stay here on your next trip. You will be in for a real treat. Over the years, we have stayed in most of their cottages and they are always very clean and comfortable. Make sure you book ahead as they often have the "no vacancy" light on when we arrive, especially during holiday travel times. Looking forward to our next trip. A & N, NH

Loved the cottages with porches. Upon check in the reception was very friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. Cute country/victorian decor. Had a fridge. Wifi. I felt very safe. Parking right at your door. Walking distance to town. The only thing they could improve on is the complimentary coffee and juice in the office. Should upgrade to a Keurig to offer more choices and perhaps a flavored creamer and teas. The juice should be on ice or in a chiller. The vending machines and area is outdated, could use a refresher. Other than that I enjoyed my short stay and would definitely stay again and recommend Myers!
