Welcome to the Myer Country Motel where for over 75 years our standards of innkeeping excellence have been our trademark. Nestled among the Pocono Mountains of North Eastern Pennsylvania, the cottages sit on four acres with blue spruce and white pine trees lining the courtyard. The Myer Country Motel was established in 1945 by Ralph and Matilda Myer. Ralph remarried in 1952 to Audubon Winfield and they together continued to run the motel well into their 80's until their daughter, Audubon Cox, took over in 1975. She brought her energy and knack for decorating to the motel to give it a country home feel. Many people comment that this is their "home away from home". In June 1995 the third generation took over to continue the family business. Today you'll find the same warm, country friendliness that has set us apart for over 75 years. We hope you will visit us soon!

Charming older motel with a cluster of small cabins for rooms. Each cabin has a nice porch with chairs to sit outside. The cabins are arranged around a large grassy area which all of the porches face. Our room was quite spacious with two queen beds, a seating area with two comfortable arm chairs, and a large desk with chair. Still room to move around. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly. Nothing fancy or new, but everything we needed.

Sweet little cottage with a porch, warm water, good water pressure, cold fridge, great A/C, comfy bed, friendly staff, and very clean. Total inexpensive "win!" Ken was at the front desk when we arrived. Kind man.

One of the very best places I ever stayed at in many years of travel. Each cabin is just for you with your own front porch. Comfortable beds, quiet, peaceful, clean and with a long history of guests since 1945. Now those children come to stay as adults with their children! Met all of our needs. Absolutely no complaints, criticism or concerns. The owner and his family are on the grounds. They are so friendly, helpful, caring and accommodating. Wished I booked it for a week! Great place to destress, chill out and relax. Definitely going to return.

We arrived at the motel on Monday, August 15. The check in process was easy and we were in our room within 5 minutes. The room was clean and very comfy. The king sized bed was the perfect firmness and the sheets soft and very comfortable. Double sinks, beautiful clean bathroom, coffee maker and fridge! Absolutely perfect. Loved the little sitting area and the front porch with chairs all set up was perfect. The staff were quiet and very stealth - like when coming in to clean! We never knew that they were around, yet if we needed something, they were there within 2 minutes. Since our daughter lives down that way, I can see us using the Myer Country Motel as our remote home base when visiting. Thank you so much for your services! You all made our stay extremely pleasant and relaxing! See you again soon! Give Finnegan a pet from us please!!

What a find! Walked into the office to inquire about room availabiity and felt welcomed immediately. The entire property is so well manicured. The cabins are crispy clean outside and in. Obviously the owners care about their property and about their customers. Some reviewers call it dated. I call it homey. We could easily spend an extended vacation here using this as our base while exploring the tri-state area.

We've been staying here for several years, including several days in June and July last year. We learned that new owners were transitioning last summer. I'm happy to report that everything is the same. Comfy bed, clean room, great water pressure on the shower and warm friendly service. We are in room 13 which is huge and has 2 queen beds. The porch in front of every cabin is so nice for relaxing. Prices are reasonable and you're only about a mile from the center of Milford. Easy trip to Dunkin Donuts or a great breakfast place.

This is a lovely place to stay. The cabins are a great size, clean and very comfortable. Showers had strong water pressure. This is an older motel, but they have kept up the cabins nicely and the price is great! I would definitely stay here again and much prefer it over a chain hotel. The location was also great and sits on a private large lot off the main busy road.

This motel is out of the fifties with single cabins in a row. They are small, clean and very dated. Bed was firm. Had to leave windows open since base board heaters continued to put out heat even when turned off. Not really worth the money.

We stayed here in October 2021 (just now reviewing). It was individual and duplex cottages with porches. Our room had two beds and the softest sheets I've ever slept on. The desk clerk said they came from JC Penney and I would love to have a set at home. The room wasn't anything fancy but was roomy, clean, and quiet. A great location near downtown and area waterfalls. I would highly recommend it.
