We stayed one night at Myers. Very quiet. The owner is accommodating and pleasant. Nice family run business. Love that there we park outside the unit. Easy pack/unpack. There is a grassy area in the center of the complex. Each duplex cottage has a porch...More

It is a great place for Fall Foliage. Except for when I have to get all those leaves cleaned up! Haha Thanks for the Review.

Way back when, on the yearly family vacation, you might stay at a roadside motel that had individual cottages. They were fine, but rustic. Not so the Meyer Country Motel. They have taken the cottage experience and kept pace. Rooms are well decorated and large....More

Thanks, We have worked hard to keep this nostalgic piece of history up to date in the era of big boxes. It's definitely the way to travel because of the personality the cabins have and the experiences you encounter. You just can't get that at...More

If I could give a higher rating, I would. This was an affordable, fun place to stay. It was so enjoyable sitting out on the porch and visiting with the "neighbor" on the other side of the cabin. The beds were comfortable and the interior...More

About
Description
Welcome to the Myer Country Motel where for over 68 years our standards of innkeeping excellence have been our trademark. Nestled among the Pocono Mountains of North Eastern Pennsylvania, the cottages sit on four More acres with blue spruce and white pine trees lining the courtyard. The Myer Country Motel was established in 1945 by Ralph and Matilda Myer. Ralph remarried in 1952 to Audubon Winfield and they together continued to run the motel well into their 80's until their daughter, Audubon Cox, took over in 1975. She brought her energy and knack for decorating to the motel to give it a country home feel. Many people comment that this is their "home away from home". In June 1995 the third generation took over to continue the family business. Today you'll find the same warm, country friendliness that has set us apart for over 68 years. We hope you will visit us soon! Less
