I have been to 'The Inn' before it changed owners a few years back and just recently again and was thrilled to hear, that it is with Carl and Janice, the original owners, again. We atayed overnight and after a short walk through the neighborhood (scenic and safe) we had a quick drink at the bar (good choice of beers,... More

Lets start with Janice and Carl, two nicer or more talented people you will not meet. The Inn has been in the family since 1945, it is well maintained and sits on inviting landscapes with flower beds, Koi pool and mini farm. Carl is a schooled chef and grows most of the organic produce used at the inn and maintains... More

My husband and I have been staying at the Laurel Villa for years, and it seems to get better all the time. The rooms are clean, comfortable and pleasantly old-fashioned, the food is superb and everyone there, from the owners to the chambermaids, is friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet corner of a peaceful (but sophisticated) small town, away... More

My two adult daughters and I had Thanksgiving at The River Rock for our second annual dinner there. We get there a few times a year but our favorite is Thanksgiving when Ken goes all out on the turduckin dinner with all the vegetables and fixings you could ever want and it is served family style with extras of whatever... Went with another couple for a night, loved it. The service could not be better. Between the owner/chef and the family that helps run the place, they will make your stay special. Did not eat dinner there but the breakfast was excellent and service was extremely accommodating. Excellent value overall.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience, certainly for the price. The rooms are a little like staying at your grandmothers, small but not cramped, very comfortable bed, small bath with weirdly intense water pressure, teeny flat screen TV that you could barely see from the bed. Staff was very friendly, breakfasts were great and sitting out on the porch was... More

We arrived late and already had dinner so we did not get to enjoy the food aromas leaving the kitchen . The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable . The shower had possibly the most water pressure I have ever experienced.

Just a well deserved ding for double booking our room. We were called 1 day before my wife and I were headed out to stay here for our first anniversary. The other people got the room as they said they reserved the room 6 months in advance and we only did it 2 months in advance. All the owner did... More

We wanted to stay here for a weekend but they didn't have a room for us. So one night we decided to go here for dinner. Fantastic food! One of the best places in this area that we've every gone to for dinner. The service was okay. We heard one of the other servers ofter specials to another table but... More

We stayed here in late September for one night. Good location on a quiet street and local to Pocono attractions. The town is small though, not much to do. Our room was clean and comfy. However the bathroom was too small for my 6'1" husband (not enough leg room on the toilet). The restaurant is wonderful - our main reason... More
