This past weekend we stayed at Malibu. This was a Christmas gift. Very disappointed. 1. The prices are astronomical for the amenities. 2. Googling, there are other dude ranches, for less money, offering "luxury" stays with beautiful accommodations. Imagine - TV and wifi included! 3. Hayride was a joke, and if you could see the hospitatility of the driver -... More

Our new home away from home which we hope to return to again and again! Amazing horses, fabulous riding! We were looking for a horse riding-centric, family friendly ranch and we found it! This is NOT your typical family "resort" with water park and nightly entertainment that also happens to have horseback riding. No, this is a pure and simple,... More

My new husband and I were here for our honeymoon in September. This experience couldn't have been more perfect. We arrived on a Monday afternoon, checked in and spent the day settling in. Meals were in the saloon since there weren't many guests (weekday during the school year.) This ended up working in our favor. Meals made by Dave and... More

Fantastic horses, the wranglers were outstanding, and all of the staff were terrific. I felt so relaxed and excited and pampered all week long! We stayed in one of the John Wayne cabins, "Nevada". Very primitive. If you are a princess, this isn't for you. Comfortable king bed, no wifi, no TV, nothing fancy but after a long day riding... More

My husband and I visited last week for the first time. We needed a change from our usual beach vacations. We made a great choice! The Malibu staff from the front desk (Sara & Karissa). Jamie in the dining room. All the wranglers- Chris, Kyra, Jubilee, Josh, Chris and Abby were all wonderful!! We did so much riding, exploring the... More

We went there last Saturday. After dinner we went to get seats for the show, they were selling 50/50 tickets and pull tab tickets (match 3 and win) and giving out advertisement’s for a rodeo in Atlantic city on veterans day weekend. They were saying the money was to help veterans. At the start of the show they the riders... More

My daughter and I just returned from another trip to the Malibu Dude Ranch. From the moment we left last year, she has been asking to go back. We had a fabulous time once again! I think this is my daughter's favorite place on earth. It was so nice to see all the familiar faces of the staff. Everyone is... More

The staff was really wonderful with them and they didn't want to leave. accommodations were in line with going to a ranch not luxury. They enjoyed the hayride and bonfire Friday night but only marshmallows provided so bring the rest... More

My girls ands I visited for a week and is the best vacation we have had yet! When I first told the girls there was no tv in the room they balked a bit so we brought the computer and some movies.
