Property's Favorite Review
100% Highly recommend Yoder's Guest House - without hesitation! Denise and Chuck have created a "best of the best" Bed and Breakfast experience. Denise was outside to greet us upon arrival and explained the keys, mealtimes, and other important house info with just the right amount of detail. She carries the phone with her - ready to answer ANY question at ANY time - before or during your stay. They are the real deal - they know how to be professionals, while at the same time being friendly, welcoming and engaging. They have anticipated absolutely everything that you might want or need - and they DELIVER! The house is spotlessly clean. The bedding, linens, towels and furnishings are all of very high quality and in excellent condition. There are gathering spots throughout the property (front porch, dining area, etc.) and they have outfitted the overnight bike storage with pumps, tools, chain oil, and anything else you may need for your bicycle. Breakfast was delicious and Denise and her kitchen team were happy to accomodate any special dietary needs.
If Yoder's has room for you... BOOK IT TODAY. You will be happy that you did.

This Guest House is everything you could wish for and more when riding the GAP. Denise and Chuck have created a very relaxed and beautifully decorated home away from home for their guests. Yoders Guest House is immaculate and offers everything needed for bike travel, from bike wash, tools, garage storage, etc. to comfortable rooms, access to a refrigerator, microwave, dining area and laundry. The full breakfast is delicious with a wonderful presentation second to none. In addition the hosts were careful to make everyone feel safe during the pandemic by following the recommended guidelines. They offer shuttle service as well which was very conveniently integrated with our stay. Highly recommended. We hope to return on our next visit to the GAP.

This Guest House-Inn is updated and well appointed. There are accommodations to park and lock bikes in a building, as well as a bike stand to make any fixes. The owners are welcoming and very outgoing. The meals were restaurant quality and there was a small kitchen for guests with an ice and water machine, Keurig, and snacks. The House is decorated with fun bike designs. The porch was fun to hang out on and socialize as well as a back yard seating area. There is a uphill back to GAP trail but well worth walking the bike up if needed! One of the best Inns we stayed in on our 4 day tour.

I’m not generally a fan of B&B’s, but I like this one a lot.
I stayed in the Laurel room.
1. Unlike many B&B rooms this one actually has places to unpack your clothes. It has a dresser with DRAWERS! And a closet with a shelf and HANGERS! What a novel thought!
2. The bathroom is spacious. It had a vanity with DRAWERS, so there’s actually places to put your toiletries instead of trying to cram them onto the two square inches of available space on a pedestal sink. The bathtub/shower also had a door instead of a flimsy curtain.
3. The breakfast was fantastic, and there’s a coffee maker and tea supplies available 24 hrs a day.
4. For cyclists on the GAP trail they have a garage in which to store bikes.
I definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in early June 2022. In all we had 3 rooms. The amount of care and thought that the owner's have given to their guests experience is truly top notch. Great rooms. Hot Showers! Great breakfast. Great bike storage and amenities.
Owner allowed us to check in early and wash our bikes off after a very rainy ride. Provided tubs for our soggy gear. Everything is really well thought out.
Wonderful covered porch was the perfect place to stay out of the light rain while wetting our whistles.
Great dinner recommendations. Fantastic ice cream across the street. One block from a Sheetz's for supplies. Super clean and comfortable. On Site Laundry.
Air pumps, bike tools, repair stand, e-bike chargers!!!
We will be back. Yoder's for the win!

Stayed here riding the GAP. It’s close to the trail, a little hill going back up across the train tracks but pretty easy. The hosts were excellent. The accommodations and food were excellent. We would highly recommend Yoders to anyone especially cyclists.

This guest house bed & breakfast was everything you could ask for. We were welcomed by one of the owners, Denise, who showed us a safe and convenient place to park our e-bikes. We were given keys and told where we could wash our water bottles, get filtered water, and help ourselves to snacks. We had a homely room on the third floor of this lovely old house. Across the street was a diner that provided a modest but delicious fish sandwich for supper. The next morning we were served breakfast in the Yoder’s dining area— eggs, French toast, and fresh fruit— all yummy. The house is close to the center of Meyersdale and has a huge front porch that’s a relaxing place to soak up the late afternoon sun. I heartily recommend this place!

Yoder's hardly needs another sterling review but I want to add my appreciation: owners are amazingly friendly and helpful and sensitive to travelers' needs , especially for cyclists (they set up a special water-ice station to refill water bottles) Rooms are comfortable and quiet and nicely furnished (each is different, not a cookie-cutter place) Breakfast delicious Very comfortable and inviting inside sitting area and outside porch Large/clean/secure bike garage. Only 0.3 miles from GAP and right in town for nearby food. Make reservations far in advance because this fills up!

After a long rainy day on the GAP Trail Yoder's provided a warm friendly welcome. Upon arrival I was immediately shown the bike wash station and the locked garage for bike storage. The room was very comfortable and clean and the downstairs lounge was great for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The breakfast was waiting for me in the morning and was delicious. Highly recommended.

Our room at Yoder's Guesthouse was private and comfortable, the common rooms are beautifully done, and the hosts were warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and well-paced. We stayed during a multi-day bike ride on the GAP trail. There was a well-organized, covered, locked space for our bicycles, with thoughful details such as available hand pumps.
