Room and breakfast were great. They have a detached garage to safeguard bikes and everything you need to repair a bike if you have such skills. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to both bike riders and others.
Yoder's hardly needs another sterling review but I want to add my appreciation: owners are amazingly friendly and helpful and sensitive to travelers' needs , especially for cyclists (they set up a special water-ice station to refill water bottles) Rooms are comfortable and quiet and nicely furnished (each is different, not a cookie-cutter place) Breakfast delicious Very comfortable and inviting inside sitting area and outside porch Large/clean/secure bike garage. Only 0.3 miles from GAP and right in town for nearby food. Make reservations far in advance because this fills up!
Lovely home & your host's Denise & Chuck are fantastic. Great breakfast for whatever your journey that day maybe. We enjoyed talking with the other guests on the porch as well as during breakfast. Now have some new ideas for more adventures.
Our room was comfortable and cheerful. Everything works well. But that's not so unusual. What is special is the warm welcome, the wonderful breakfast, and the enthusiasm with which our hostess helped us and gave us great ideas (good restaurant recommendation, great place to store our bikes, including pumps & tools in case they are needed, general thoughts on the remainder of our bicycle journey). I am only sorry we didn't get to stay longer.
Incomparable service, room, and breaky. I would return here whether biking again or to enjoy the area. They served a full breakfast with hot cereal, egg, meat, hot beverages, fresh fruit and even granola bars and fruit for the day's ride. Owners are great full-time hosts and take care with guests in this lovingly restore home. Recommended dinner qt the Whitehouse Restaurant with a driver to take us there and back was special. Real home cooking.
Denise (with a hand from Chuck) runs a wonderful, clean, restful B&B close to the GAP and across from the best ice cream parlor and a half-block from a Sheetz with a "beer cave"! They have thought of everything to make trail riders happy, including a full repair shop in their garage, de-mudding spot in the backyard, delicious breakfast and comfortable, charming rooms. I recommend without hesitation. Also enjoyed at their suggestion dinner at White House.
We stayed in early June 2022. In all we had 3 rooms. The amount of care and thought that the owner's have given to their guests experience is truly top notch. Great rooms. Hot Showers! Great breakfast. Great bike storage and amenities. Owner allowed us to check in early and wash our bikes off after a very rainy ride. Provided tubs for our soggy gear. Everything is really well thought out. Wonderful covered porch was the perfect place to stay out of the light rain while wetting our whistles. Great dinner recommendations. Fantastic ice cream across the street. One block from a Sheetz's for supplies. Super clean and comfortable. On Site Laundry. Air pumps, bike tools, repair stand, e-bike chargers!!! We will be back. Yoder's for the win!
We felt right at home from the moment that we arrived. The people were nice and the atmosphere was grand. I would recommend Yoder's Guest House to anyone staying in this area. I would also recommend the area as a place to visit.
The host and hostess were very welcoming and friendly. The place is spotless. Food was amazing. Room was quiet and comfortable. Slept great! The bike garage was secure and a great lace to clean and lube bikes. My suggestion is to start your GAP trip planning by making these lodging arrangements first and then go from there!
Just a delightful B&B on the GAP trail. Very friendly accommodating owners and other staff. Wonderful breakfast with local sausage. Good bike storage tools and pumps. Very comfortable cool room. Most of all enjoyed the evening conversation on the porch with other travelers. Will definitely return
