Stayed here for a weekend and was really impressed. Very clean and management was very friendly. I would recommend this motel. From my understanding this motel has just been recently renovated and is under all new management. It does show.

This Motel is old and shows it. I have met the new management, and feel there will be new standards. Cleaning is top priority. Carpets are being replaced with hardwood floors. Given a chance, I feel The Mercer Motel will be an inexpensive, comfortable, local place to spend the night or weekend. It has a good price, even without a... More

The people who run the place and the owner are thieves who lie and cheat you. I was here for a little over a month when they came to my room one afternoon and demanded that I pay them more money or they would call the police and kick me out. Bear in mind I have a receipt showing that... More

I am extremely sorry for this inappropriate and unacceptable experience at our motel. The management that was in place at the time of this review is no longer part of the Mercer Motel. As the owner, I take this review very personal. We are in the process of improving the image of our motel. We are starting with some room... More

We stayed here last summer, so if there was a change of management I hope it was for the better. The place was very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. It wasn't clean and the door didn't close properly. It's in a very poor town and it didn't feel safe. In the middle of the night a motorcycly... More

The New Management of this motel are the friendliest people I have ever met. On my way back from Pittsburgh, my car started to overheat and I got stuck on the side of the road. After 2 hours of an officer helping me and trying to fix my car we realized it would have to go to a mechanic. So... More

First of all, I called to make a reservation and the old woman on the phone was so rude I almost didn't stay there to start with. . . . I should have listened to my instincts. When I checked in the rude old lady I talked to on the phone told me the room would cost $10 more then... More

Although a little dated and very simple, no fridge or microwave, the room was really clean and really cheap. i mean for less than $40 bucks you really can't beat it. It was nice and quiet and close to town. The managers were really friendly and it kind of had an old school charm.

My husband pretty much forced me to stay here, after a week of my nagging we finally went to a better place. It's just not clean and smells funny. Place creeped me out.

This place was scary. It had stained bed sheets and a funky smell. The window a/c unit worked well. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the shower ran hot and cold. But the people are friendly and it didn't have any bugs or anything. So if your looking for a cheap cheap place to stay this is it. You get... More
