We could not have enjoyed ourselves more at Alpenhof, a very convenient location just outside Philadelphia. Owners are a delightful couple and genuinely wonderful hosts. Property is unique with a pool and beautiful garden, loved by butterflies and hummingbirds. Breakfast was one of the finest we have ever had. We stayed in the Master Suite and could not have been happier. We will return, for sure.

This is a sweet, lovely and delicious place to stay. Our room was impressive and impeccable. The bed is one of the best I have ever slept on and I am determined to find one for my house now! The breakfast was so good (I asked for gluten free and had the most incredible sourdough gf bread) and the owners were kind and there for us for every need. We will be back and we will recommend!

My friend and I enjoyed Alpenhof, located in an excellent quiet location, yet in close proximity to Philadelphia. The swimming pool is a definite plus in the summer. The garden/ grounds were lush and  beautiful, and the B&B is an amazing converted barn with eclectic furnishings.  Delicious breakfast with a choice of menu items. The waffles were amazing! Our room was comfortable with what appeared to be a newly remodeled bathroom. Lovely hosts who made our stay memorable.  Highly recommend this B&B.

We were greeted by the sweetest little dog when we arrived and we very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. It has a very Arts & Crafts feel to it, with nature and natural elements all around you. Beautiful landscaping, nice pool, phenomenal breakfast, comfy beds and pillows, and just up the road (turn right as you leave) is the parking area for our favorite walk along the creek in Ridley Creek State Park. Everything was super clean, and Roland could teach hospitality classes, he was the nicest Bed and Breakfast owner I have ever met. If you are a dog owner there is only one room you can book (the cottage). We stayed in the main house and it was quiet and very relaxing. We had dinner outdoors in the garden at Byrsa Bistro in Glen Mills, which was really good. We will be back.

Hi Jean --- a very descriptive review to say the least. Thank you for the "play by play" and the glowing review. Though we are a little removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Media -- there are plenty of great things to do "right here in our own backyard". We're happy to hear you had a nice stay and felt recharged when you departed. Thanks to Buddy as well! All our best for a good summer. See you soon! Roland and Anh

I just returned from a lovely stay at Alpenhof Bed, Breakfast and Gardens, on Ridley Creek Road in Media, Pa. This was my first time at the Inn, and there will certainly be more visits ahead for me. From the moment I approached the check-in area, I knew I already loved the place. The owner, Roland Muller is a perfect host. He greeted me kindly, and showed me my room. Each room is named after a family member. I stayed in the "Otto" room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom has state of the art features, which I loved. After I got settled, I decided to take a walk to see the entire place. The interior of the Inn looks like a museum. There is so much to see and appreciate. The outdoor area is exquisite. The gardens are gorgeous, and the pool area is just beautiful. To top it all off, breakfast was phenomenal. You get a menu to choose your entree, along with fresh fruit, freshly baked muffin and scones, and delicious coffee. I felt completely rejuvenated after my trip to Alpenhof! What a breath of fresh air in a hidden oasis!! I cannot wait to return!!🤗
