My daughter attends nearby Allegheny College ( literally two min away) and I wanted a quick impromptu visit. I decided on Mayor Lord's House due to the location and accessibility to my daughter. Previously, have stayed at nearby hotels when visiting.I can tell you now that I'll never make that mistake again lol!! The house is beautiful, the rooms well...

I was visiting Meadville for 10 days on business, and Sherry (owner/innkeeper) made me feel more then comfortable. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and very clean. Sherry makes one feel right at home with her hospitality and tastefully decorated home. The breakfast buffet is all made from scratch, delicious and customized to ones taste and dietary restrictions. The oatmeal is...

Once again, Sherry out did herself! The house, bedrooms, and breakfast were amazing! We've been staying at Mayor Lord's B&B for over 10 years and it only gets better! We look forward to our next visit, already scheduled for 2017!

Our daughter attends Allegheny College in Meadville and we visited for Family Weekend. In the past, we have stayed at local hotels, but will make a point to stay at Mayor Lord's each visit in the future! Our hostess, Sherry, was a delight and everything at Mayor Lord's is with the guests' comforts and needs in mind. The B&B is...

I was in Meadville for a few nights for my high school son's overnight visit to Allegheny College. I really appreciated the hospitality, comfort and company of others during my stay. This was my first time staying at a B&B, and I will definitely stay again when in Meadville.

The property is lovely, and it is right off a busy road. Sherry was very thoughtful. The breakfast is very light and simple. My biggest issue was that I could hear everything from the street, from people talking to the cars zooming by, even when the air condition was on. Yes, I used the earplugs and that helped a little....

We were traveling to Meadville to tour Allegheny College with my high school son, and needed a place to stay near to campus. Mayor Lord's was actually our first B&B for a number of years, and we were just so pleased with the experience! Sherry was a marvelous host, making suggestions for things to do in town and places to...

As someone who lives in a 150 year old home in historic Boston I did not expect to be so impressed by the historic character of Meadville's B&B. And as a first-time visitor in town for a family funeral I did not expect to feel so at home and uplifted. Thanks to both the place and its personable, interesting innkeeper...

My sister aNd I stayed 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. Sherry even made gluten free pancakes for us. We'd definitely stay here again. It is located in town , even with a street side ground floor room it wasn't noisy at night.

This property is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the area. The room we had was perfect with a queen bed and single as we were traveling with our college aged daughter. The place is spotless and kept in wonderful condition for a 100 year old property. The breakfast was excellent as was the conversation.
