Stayed here when I brought my daughter to Allegheny for an admitted students overnight. Lovely room, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, and great breakfast in the morning! I met a lot of other parents who were there for the same reason - if my daughter chooses this school I will become a regular at this B&B!!

I traveled to Meadville on a college visit with my daughter. We stayed in the Carriage House, a new option for them. While it was a little hard to find the entrance, once we did, we were thrilled with the spacious and lovely great room and well appointed room. I felt like I was staying in someone's home. The housekeeper made a wonderful breakfast the next morning that had something for everyone. I highly recommend the experience.

Mayor Lord's is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast in Meadville, PA. We stayed here while our child was on an overnight visit to Allegheny College. We stayed in the Carriage House. We appreciated the very informative phone call and text we received before our visit that included directions to the house and arrival directions. We also loved the ability to come and go as we pleased. We did not know when we would arrive because of the on-campus activities and the ability to arrive late in the evening via the key code lock on the door was fantastic! Our room was large but cozy with an amazing bathroom. The furniture gave us room for our "stuff" and the closets were large and plentiful. Love the mirrored closet doors. The bed was very comfortable with lots of blankets and different kinds of pillows (squishy and firm). The breakfast was delicious. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and strawberries. We very much enjoyed speaking with the Allegheny student that was staying in the carriage house. She was able to give us ideas for our free time. While we did not have the chance to use the public spaces in the house, they were very beautiful and inviting. Would definitely stay here again!

The main B&B house is located on a main street in town but there is also accommodations located off a driveway in back. We stayed in one of the rooms of an old, abandoned carraige house (in back) that had been beautifully restored. The property has a very interesting history. There were rooms downstairs as well as upstairs, some with shared bathrooms and some with private ones. Upstairs, is a beautiful community room complete with lots of chairs, tables and fireplace. Great for reading on a cold night. Our room was large and we'll appointed with antique furniture. Bathroom was clean and large with shower and Jacuzzi tub. Felt very safe, private and quite. Grounds are beautiful and could very well lend itself for a small wedding venue. The innkeeper, Sherry, was available and accommodating to help make our stay comfortable. The property is tucked away in the old part of downtown and within walking distance to several restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and for a very reasonable price, highly recommended it.

Recently spent almost 2 weeks at the B&B due to an unexpected injury obtained by my daughter, a newly arrived college student. Sherrie and Judy provided outstanding service to us during this very difficult time. Sherrie was flexible and accommodating. And we appreciated Judy's motherly touch while my daughter was recuperating. During my previous visits I stayed at a hotel nearby and didn't realize the B&B was there. But for just about the same cost I was able to have a much nicer, more comfortable experience in a very charming and beautiful home. I will most definitely be a regular customer. Many thanks!
