We had a series of miscues from the moment we got there, and until we left. The facility has just changed ownership and there are a few hiccups that will need to be sorted out. Firstly, they key we were given did not work for the chalet. We went back and we're given a new key. The chalet was spacious... More

Thanks for taking the time to kindly provide feedback. Although we work very hard and often spend plenty of money to avoid these types of issues they sometimes happen and we certainly regret the inconvenience. Although it's disheartening to hear these remarks I can assure you that we are committed to address all topics you raise (and more). For information... More

Hubby and I wanted to get away for the night after dropping kids off at camp. Since these cottages have a kitchette we grabbed some food/wine at the local grocery store and settled in for a peaceful night. A few of our cottage neighbours had a fire so we visited and had a great time. The cottages are exceptionally clean... More

We rented the cottages and chalets to celebrated the marrage of our son and his bride. We are so grateful to the new owner's Steve and Lucia of the Tidal Bore Rafting Grounds; they took care of all of our needs for accommodations , lobster dinner and rafting requests.

We stayed here the night before our rafting trip and we enjoyed it very much. The cottage was big, clean and the beds relatively comfortable. Being in the woods, it was also very quiet. The TV wasn't working properly so my husband found the owner next door and he came right over and fixed it quickly. The biggest problem for... More

My family recently went one of the Tidal Bore Adventure tours. We want to extend a huge thank you for one of the most memorable experiences of our life. My 11 year old daughter who is usually quite timid in trying adventurous and new things, said to me after our trip that it was "the best/funnest day of her life",... More

We visited this lodge to experience Tidal Bore rafting, easily one of our top highlights on our visit to Nova Scotia. The rafting is a lot of fun, you will get wet and it can get cold after you leave the boat, make sure you bring old clothes and shoes for this. Our guide was great really experienced and cracked... We visited for the tidal bore rafting experience. What an amazing 4 hours! Our guide, Steve (and his dog Patches) was awesome. He had a lot of knowledge of the area and how the tides and tidal bore worked. He was loads of fun on the trip. Rafting the waves was amazing. Steve made sure we had a great (and... More
