This past weekend we stayed at Manheim Manor for a wedding at The Booking House, a very short walk away. Laureen and Todd were great hosts! Very congenial and recommended the Cat's Meow for a great lunch. This home and backyard was beautiful! Breakfast quiches and sides with yogurt parfaits were delicious. Lovely hospitable touches throughout the house (brandy bedside... More

Everyone who is familiar with Mary Poppins knows that she is "practically perfect in every way". This B&B is even better! The inn itself is gorgeous and beautifully furnished. All the rooms are large and beautifully appointed. The libraries (yes, libraries plural--books, VHS, DVD) are extensive and can satisfy any taste. And if that's not enough, Todd and Laureen, the... Attractive and comfortable room, afternoon snacks, and a variety of movies (we watched an old James Bond movie). The French toast was scrumptious and the hosts were personable. We'll definitely stay there again.

Fantastic getaway, very quiet and very clean. Hosts are very friendly and treat guests well. Breakfast out of this world as well as treats and go alongs. Highly recommend this property and certainly will return in the future. Good location to a lot of different things to do as well. Hosts certainly will guide you in the right direction. Don't... Great place for a group of friends. Stayed there a few weeks ago. My first time at a B&B, I was totally blown away. The breakfast was magnificent. The location was great, eating estab. within walking distance. Super close to the faire. Relaxed, comfortable and inviting common room. I totally loved the house, Bed was super comfortable. This was my first visit--came with some friends who have been coming sometimes multiple times a year, and I've heard nothing but great things. Laureen and Todd have set the bar very high...I don't know that I'll ever enjoy another b&b as much. Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration, but I've never experienced this level of service at this price point.... More

What a lovely gem! The inn is beautifully decorated with Victorian furnishings, and the rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Innkeepers Todd and Laurene could not have been more welcoming and friendly. There's a lovely bar with wine, soft drinks and appetizers in the late afternoon and cookies, snacks, coffee etc. in the evening. But the best thing (food wise)... More

We stayed here a couple weekends ago. My main reason for picking the place was because it's so close to the Renfaire (and also due to the Tripadvisor reviews). The Renaissance Faire is right up route North 72, I think roughly 2 miles (or less) away. The place itself is nice, as are the hosts. Menus and brochures are in... More

My significant other and I stayed in the Emeralds and Evergreen Room the last weekend in August after a day at the PA Renaissance Faire, just as we did five years ago. The house has everything you could want at a B&B (or everything I could want, and I'm extremely high-maintenance): Victorian furnishings, a pretty lawn, private bathrooms, even a... More

Beautiful home...lovely couple! I highly recommend the scones (thank you again Todd!) So happy we stayed here for our anniversary get-away. The rooms were very clean and they supplied everything you may need. Afternoon wine and snacks were very nice to come back to before dinner. Breakfasts were phenomenal. Will definitely be back in the fall!
