We drove up to Swiss Woods and felt like we stepped into Switzerland. It's a charming Chalet-like B&B. The inside continued with it's welcoming decor. Wood and stone adorn the living areas and a table filled with home baked biscotti and cookies. We were greeted by Mary, the host, who was gracious and is an amazing cook. She immediately made... The Swiss Woods B&B Is a wonderful place to stay and relax while visiting the Lancaster - Lititz area. Each morning started with an exceptional breakfast including a selection of home baked treats, fruits and entree. The room was comfortable and inviting. Each day ended with a cozy fire and lively conversation on the patio. We look forward to our... More

Pros: the room where we had breakfast was beautiful with a huge fireplace. The breakfast was very good, fresh fruit, sausage, pancakes, juice, frittata, etc. the property is in the woods with a nice courtyard. Room was clean. Cons: small rooms with a small tv. We stayed at Swiss Woods for 4 nights, 5 days in early May. We were in the San Bernadino room which is very pretty and faces the gardens but I thought all the downstairs rooms were all very nice and reasonably priced. The upstairs rooms are more spacious but cost more. (Website descriptions are right on). We found this place... More

The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast served is abundant and so very good. If you walk away hungry, it's your own fault. If you have an allergy or dislike an items used in preparation, the owner makes sure you are accommodated. The grounds are beautiful in the summer and winter. Tasty treats are available throughout the day.

We needed to get away for a few days, and Swiss Woods was the perfect answer! Our room was adequate, the bed comfortable, the WIFI barely serviceable though. Breakfast and snacks are plentiful and out of the ordinary. Staff is friendly, full of helpful area information. We met several repeat guests - that is confidence-inspiring!
