This is my first time staying at the General Sutter Inn. I have dined in the restaurant several times over the years and always enjoyed it so I thought I would check out the Inn. The location was convenient to everything in Lititz and most importantly they have a few DOG friendly rooms. The room was clean and a coffee machine was provided. (I did miss having a small refrigerator but they did offer to store something in a refrigerator I needed it.) I like that there is a antique feel about the hotel but it’s not kitschy or over done. The room colors/style were light and airy. I had different friends spending time with me over the weekend and twice, we enjoyed the wonderful meals at their restaurant. The front desk folks were always friendly and helpful and they were very nice to my pup. Oreo also gives it five barks! I highly recommend staying there.

My husband and I take frequent day trips to The General Sutter Inn. The food is fantastic and the menu has great options. Then we walk around the cute town of Lititz with their little shops. Great day trip.

We have stayed at the hotel and frequent the pub. Everything has been great except the hotel manager. He has a beard. I even contributed to his cancer fund since I had 2 cancer surgeries. He just tried to to throw me our of the Bulls Head because they were closing for the Super Bowl.

Dear RobertmU664UX, Thank you for your business and I apologize that this past Sunday's experience was so displeasing to you. We are closed for the Super Bowl every year as we do not have televisions and thus are not an establishment frequented during this time. Every year we post signs on our doors and notices on social media warning of the earlier closure. Thank you as well for your contribution to our former General Manager's cancer fund. Unfortunately, he did not survive his battle with this horrible disease. We are pleased to hear that you have. Sincerely, Erin Stroyan-Peduzzi Assistant General Manager General Sutter Inn & Bulls Head Public House

I've stayed at the General Sutter more than once. Each time it has more than met my expectations. I love the fact that it's not a typical chain hotel. Walk in the door and you instantly know your someplace special. The staff has always been gracious and very accommodating. Want a chain, stay elsewhere, want a unique experience, this is the place.

A great time was had by all after staying in the Kings Suite at the General Sutter Inn. There were three of us sharing the room and it worked out very well. Two people shared the king bed and I took the day bed. I don't think I would have liked the day bed for more than a couple of nights, but it was fine for one or two nights. The included light breakfast was fair but a little frustrating as they ran out of bacon, coffee and orange juice. All items were replaced but it took two guests to walk out to the front desk and inform the desk person and not a little time for everything to reappear. However, that little blip was just that. The hotel was clean, friendly and in the best location to take advantage of everything Lititz by foot.
