Back in site was clean and level with easy hook-ups. Seemed like most of the campers were seasonal. Many campsites cluttered with "stuff." Annoying announcements made throughout the day on a very loud PA system. Freight trains run frequently nearby, right near tenting area.

Just last year began staying here for PSU football weekends. We normally stay at the KOA in Bellefonte but found the Locust (Waterside) to be the most relaxing, shady, quiet, and very friendly staff campground ever. We will be back for many years.

We had a Riverfront camp site which was beautiful. The campground has many full time campers with only a few sites for short term campers. The sites are large and very quiet. The office staff was not friendly at all nor were they informative. The pool & bathroom are well maintained and clean but you have to pay to shower.... More

We just came back from a 3 night stay. Things didn't start out good as we booked a waterfront site on line and the site we were assigned was 3rd row back (found this out when we checked in). The staff was really helpful. No waterfront sites were available, but she was able to get us a better site then... More

I was totally amazed at this quiet place, right on the Juanita river. I was headed in the area to purchase an RV. I am from Lancaster County. So I searched the area and found this place online. I thought ok give it a try. They had some simple cabins available. We arrived and were amazed! Clean, quiet and right... More

We stayed on the river and our site was large and accommodating. There was a lot of trash in the fire pit that is not safe to burn as well as a lot of cigarette butts on the ground around the campsite. I cleaned that up myself. It was supposed to be Olympics weekend with activities. There was a planned... More

Most of staff was cordial. Some maintainence people need to be trained in customer service and the use of proper languange around women and children. It seems the foulest speaking ones were the loudest. There was a power failure and maintaince refused to get generators for the well pumps, ergo no water in the toilets, yuch. If not for the... Wouldn't stay here again, staff was very rude and unfriendly. They can't decide what the speed limit is through out the part, have multiple different signs/rules on what the actual speed limit is. If the power goes out, which according to some of the seasonals it does often, they lock the bathrooms and you have no water. The pool is... More
