I’ve traveled the country and most of Europe and have stayed in a range of places but this hotel is in my top 5. Rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are beyond comfortable and the pillows are the fluffiest. I have never been disappointed with any of the rooms. The restaurant is delish and the bar always has a nice crowd with great drinks. Front desk was accommodating and cordial's. Don’t listen to these other reviews, they are simply wrong. ❤️

The negative reviews I read were not my experience. I am very fussy about cleanliness and smells. The rooms are spread out and doorman escorts you. The building elegant and room was spacious and clean. Actually, the room is so large you hear echoing. No old thrift store smell at all! Large bathroom, comfortable bed. The food at the restaurant was delicious and service spot on! There was only one downside for me, we went there because we dreamt of a lobby or restaurant with a roaring fire and soft leather furnishings. The pictures gave that impression. However, the restaurant fire is gas and covered with a 4 top table and lobby fire isn’t a functioning wood burning.

Do not expect to get anything like what is pictured on the site. NOT a “luxurious bath”but a cramped economy shower and so small you could barely close the door with one person in there. The bed area was so cramped that you had maybe 24” to the wall on each side. Two overstuffed chairs is actually just 1 old wing chair. The ceilings were high. They were actually kind of low and the room felt very dank and musty. We immediately talked to the manager when we saw the room but he insisted this WAS the coach/club room. Zero help whatsoever. He made the excuse that we were in a very old building. No kidding. I had actually stayed here a decade ago and had a beautiful room so I know some do exist. However, if you’re booking a coach/club room, be prepared to get the crappy economy room! We did have a great dinner at the restaurant, and a very good experience at the spa. I recommend you try out those but definitely find someplace else to book a room.

Booked here based on great reviews. Booked a certain room type on expedia. Checked in and was told that booking a room type only guarantees you a room, not the type of room you booked. The clerk said they the main inn was full due to a bus tour so our choice was a room in the basement or "historic inn" across the parking lot. We chose the inn. The room was nothing like the photo that we booked, very plain and drab, up a steep set of stairs. Went out to the theater and returned at 10pm to pull back the sheets to a blood stain in the middle. The clerk came promptly and put fresh sheets. We would not book here again since we now know that booking will not guarantee a room in the inn. The inn did look quite lovely from the outside.

The grounds and the wedding was beautiful! Food was good. But let me give older folks some warning. We are in our late 60s. Not the best at steep long flights of stairs. We were in the Bard house room 102. We were told it was an upgrade. Ugh. Not to us! It was up a long steep flight. Then in the room … another spiral up. With luggage ! Even with help it was a bit much. If I had know I would have refused the room. We were running late and took it. We were in an attic. I’m 5’4 and I hit my head. The bathroom had terrible showers and a strange slanted mirror. To top it……. Overnight a dresser drawer that no one touched was wide open. It’s haunted. Never again!!!!!

My wife and I were taking an over night get away stay to start a long weekend. Although we’re fairly local, we weren’t aware of the Inn. Wow, what an absolutely beautiful facility! Our room in the Lancaster House was cozy and the surrounding grounds were beautiful. The inn and on site amenities( spa, restaurant, cafe and pool) were nestled in the restored/ repurposed village. There’s also an event area for weddings and special occasions. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Make sure you stay here if you are ever in the area. You will definitely be overwhelmed by the hospitality and friendliness of everyone on site!

What a lovely resort this is! The landscape, flowers, and buildings are just perfect! The pool and the pool area are surrounded by lovely flowers and shrubs. It’s quiet and serene, a perfect to read a book, listen to music, or grab a nap!

Nice place to stay when staying in Lancaster, PA. Located in Leola, PA, this inn is approx 10-20 minute ride from all local attractions (Kitchen Kettle Village; Amish Shopping; PA Wolf Sanctuary, etc.) We stayed from Friday to Sunday and were upgraded from a queen suite to king suite. There are some amenities such as access to the pool with about 10 chairs for people sit however there are extras in the back; a billiards room with a large TV having access to apple tv; a meditation garden with a small water fountain for calming; and a herb gardens for anyone to walk. If you are staying during wedding season some areas are closed off and unaccessible. On Saturday, the billiards room was taken over by groomsmen and not accessible for other guests. The gardens are also closed off as weddings may be taking place outside. Our room had a vintage feel with high ceilings and beautiful windows that showed the spa's fountain. The air conditioning was very tricky and took time to cool the room down to 68 degrees. Of course we stayed during one of the most humid weekends however if keeping all curtains/blinds closed throughout the day and closing a window that was left open, we were able to cool the room down just enough. If you are a hot sleeper, I would suggest bringing an additional fan. The staff is amazing and very friendly everywhere you went; always willing to help and fix anything they can. My husband and I definitely plan on staying here when we take our yearly trip to Lancaster.

This was one of the LOVELIEST properties I’ve ever stayed at. And I’ve been to many resorts and such. We had to cancel our international travel because of a medical condition. So we had to switch our honeymoon last minute to something simpler and closer (no flying). So we went to Inn at Leola Village and Lancaster County area in PA then Poconos then Niagara Falls. We could have stayed the entire trip just here. The bridal suite was amazing - but the entire property is charming. It’s a small town but you’re close to amazing shops in the small towns nearby (Intercourse, Lancaster etc). There is a lovely Spa on site and beautiful gardens and pool. But it is the customer service that made our stay. And it’s not really that they did that much - it’s that from the moment I called them to potentially book to any questions or conversation I had since I arrived - the manager Mike and Chris and Christian were ALL wonderful. The way they talk with you it’s as if they have all the time in the world and you’re never interrupting. They are there for you and to answer or discuss anything you like or need. Really genuine, authentic, NICE men. Even the woman in the coffee shop (who grew up nearby) was amazing and spent time explaining where to go and what to do. I loved the people as much as the place and now - for the first time in all my years of travel - plan on returning to a location for a second time. I’ll go back there again in a heartbeat. Loved it.

In April, I had left my AirPods in my room. I watched them be carted all around downtown Lancaster (via Find My). They did end up back in the office but no return phone call and they did not return to me.
