Stayed at the relatively new Spring Hill Suites for one night while attending a sporting event at St Vincent College. Very convenient location. Check in was effortless. We had a nice room on the fourth floor that was outfitted with a microwave, fridge, tons of charging ports, coffee maker. The room has a semi-seperate living room area adjacent to where the bed is with a desk and translucent screen separating the two spaces. Bathroom set up is unique - shower and sink in one small room, toilet and sink in another small room. Rolling barn doors provide privacy in both. Kind of a funky set up, I'm not sure if I am a fan. Bed is very comfy but could use a heavier blanket. Breakfast was typical hotel free breakfast fare but the breakfast room was well stocked and absolutely spotless. Lobby had some Arnold Palmer memorabilia and the rooms/lobbies had a golf theme as well. Cool. There is a lobby bar that closes fairly early and there is plenty of free, on site parking.
What sets the Spring Hill apart is the service. Everyone we encountered, from the desk attendant to the cleaning personnel, were friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Well done Spring Hill! Great choice while visiting Latrobe.

Stayed at this hotel for a while and the service from all the staff was great, from the front desk, housekeeping and the breakfast girls. Always wiling to help and friendly.
Rooms were very clean and modern, although slightly weird design in that there is very little light in the sitting area since they put up a privacy glass screen over the desk which blocks out all natural light from the large windows which only lights the bedroom area. It's basically the layout of the room which is a little confusing there.
Hot breakfast was offered everyday but would have been nice to have a little variety as was always eggs and sausage, other hotels will usually alternate between sausage and bacon or other breakfast meat and if staying for a short stay it's not really an issues but for an extended day it get a little boring.

This hotel was taken care of. The hotel was spotless. The rooms were so cool. Huge. The staff was very friendly. They had breakfast with staff fulfilling your orders and then you would take it back to your room. The breakfast was awesome. Our nights stay we heard no noises. Slept very well. We know right now its very difficult with the current Corona virus but we felt they did everything possible to make sure that your stay was safe. We would definetly return.

Over the years, ventilators on both ends of the hall on floors 2-4 increasingly sound like jackhammers. The sound penetrates all rooms 24/7. I have stayed here since the hotel opened, and it is progressively worse. During the last 3 stays I had to change rooms. The 1st floor would be the only refuge—if it were not for the noisy room doors. They sound like jail doors slamming over & over, when housekeeping is on the floor. Incessantly. In fact I’m having trouble right now, writing this review in my room, for the slamming. Heavy duty weatherstripping required.
It’s a shame, because the hotel is so beautiful otherwise. I have told staff and staff is very aware. This time the receptionist said “we are trying to change suppliers or something.” I will not stay here again without calling first to verify that the ventilators are fixed.

The offerings for the hotel breakfast were the most lackluster and disappointing I have ever experienced. They have removed the toasters, bagels, English muffins and bread. When I inquired, staff told me this change was occurring chain-wide. For three mornings there was barely any meat. I will seriously reconsider my hotel choices for future stays in the area. Oh, and my frequent stay gift was a small bottle of water and one Jolly Rancher.

The staff at the hotel are the warmest, kindest, and most capable people. The rooms and whole facility are clean and well-maintained. Their breakfast spread had great variety, and the area and food preparation was hygienic. If you like golf, especially if you were a fan of Arnold Palmer's, you'll be in heaven.

The hotel was just coming back from the corona virus. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Since there were very few guests there was no breakfast buffet but they had some other options available. We were in town for business and got back to our room a bit later. Our TV did not work and they tried fixing it but moved us to another room. We checked out the next morning and left for our day 2 of business. We realized we left our jackets in on eof the rooms. We called and spoke with Dominic. He was extremely helpful and found the jackets himself. We do business in Latrobe several times a year and will most certainly stay here again.

This is my second visit to the Latrobe Springhill Suites and on both occasions my husband and I were greeted with friendly staff and beautifully decorated super clean rooms.
The breakfast area is fantastic and even impresses my husband who is a loyal fan of other hotel chains.
Due to the uncertainty of the Coronavirus issues, I appreciate the extra safety precautions that this hotel has taken for their guests during our stay this week.
Best hotel in the area, definitely a must stay!

This hotel appeared to be new and was clean and comfortable. The checkin was good. The breakfast was adequate but a bus full of people were eating so we went out. Nice to have coffee and hot water in the lobby 24/7. The SpringHill suites seem to have a very compact design with the bathroom broken up in to 2. A small airport style toilet and mini sink with a shower and sink both at the end of the bed. We don't love the design - so it is a preference.

Very nice hotel convenient to St. Vincent College. Rooms super clean, comfortable and nice furniture. Easy parking and access to Route 30. Front desk staff was very helpful and arranged for a late checkout which was greatly appreciated. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

There is no Club Level. However, this is the nicest SHS Location that I have visited. I did not miss having a club lounge.
Hi there. There’s a small refrigerator in the room, seems to me like a dorm like refrigerator.
Approximately 35 miles, depending on the route taken. Allow at least 45 minutes to an hour to get arrive, given the secondary roads leading to Fallingwater.
