This B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Kenneth is welcoming and hospitable, as well as sincerely interested in making sure his guests have a great experience. Breakfast is lovely, with something for everyone. The library and game room are full of games and books, and the parlor has room for people to sit and socialize. You won't be disappointed!
I threw a small birthday party at this property with about 30 guests attending. The owner put together a lovely menu and the food was delicious. We also stayed overnight at the property along with four party guests who were from out of town. The rooms are lovely, most with their own private bathroom. The owner served a wonderful breakfast the following morning, including a vegetable quiche. I would highly recommend this property both for events and to stay.
I have had the opportunity to do a few weddings at this beautiful place The owners were hospitable and the food outstanding the atmosphere is perfect for weddings or just family stays. I highly recommend it.
Teddy and Brandy were the sweetest, most humbly inviting and lovingly serving couple to run The Hollinger House. This 1860 home was the perfect getaway that had the most beautiful nostalgic feel that we have ever experienced. Definitely recommend and will be going back. Thank you!
Amazing B&B. Very clean, contactless check in, cookies, wine and hot drinks in the evening, use of the dining room if getting take out, access to mini fridge and microwave, well stocked library, super comfortable bed, bathrobes, board games in the room, not only asked about my dietary concerns for breakfast but went out of their way to accommodate. So very hospitable!
The Hollinger House is a beautiful, historic home with lovely accommodations and wonderful hosts. We were totally relaxed and my husband enjoyed playing the piano. The board games and evening red wine were an extra, unexpected treat. We would definitely recommend this treasure and return in the future.
The only disappointing thing about our stay at Hollinger House is that we were only there for one night! The home is everything you want a B&B to be - quaint and quiet, ornate and inviting. The breakfast alone would have been worth staying another day for. On a map, the property looks a little further from all the main Amish locations, but in reality, nothing is more than a 10 or 15 minute drive away. We loved our room with the private balcony, and the bottle of wine left out in the dining room was the perfect "no contact" check-in treat. Would definitely stay here again!
My wife and I had a great time! We got away for a brief escape. She wanted to see "Jesus" at the Sight and Sound theater (AWESOME SHOW, BTW). I began looking around the theater for places to stay. The Hollinger House called out to me, and it did not disappoint. Brandy is a sweetheart, and her hubby is a talented chef. I'd love to see what he could do for dinner. The only drawback I should mention is the small parking spaces. The bed was comfy, the silence was golden, and the breakfast was yummy. Pray for an abundance of peaches if you go. The peach cobbler cookies and peach coffee cake were very tasty. I'll definitely visit again!
We stayed at the Hollinger House and had a nice stay. The proprietors Ted and Brandy are friendly and very accommodating . The afternoon cookies are tasty and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. The house is an old mansion and it is very tastefully decorated for the period it was built. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was in need of minor updating. Overall a nice place, good location, good meal, friendly managers,
My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. Teddy and Brandy have thought of everything--from little chocolates in each room to delicious breakfasts made from scratch. The house itself is a masterpiece and a lovely collection of lovingly chosen furniture right down to the cast iron sinks in our bathroom. This is a place where you can relax all day playing board games on the porch or see the sites of Hershey and Lancaster. I will definitely return.
