Spent a week at the Australian Walkabout for a personal retreat. Stayed in the Adalaide Hills suite. Very comfortable. The bed is a sleep number bed. Nice sitting room area with a small fridge. Air conditioner in the bedroom but it adequately cooled the sitting room as well. The bathroom features a whirlpool tub/shower combo. The tub is quite deep...

Husband and I stayed here and chose a room with an extra sitting room. Room was cozy and appreciated the sleep number mattress. Sheets were heaven. Innkeeper made a point of going out of her way to make us comfortable from the moment we crossed the threshold. Asked what we planned on doing while in town and made several suggestions...

Lovely room with every detail well thought out. We stayed two nights while exploring the Lancaster area and will definitely be return guests. I believe all rooms have whirlpool tubs with the exception of one which has a double sized large shower.

As frequent visitors, we were looking for somewhere different to stay in Lancaster, so we decided to try one of the B&Bs. After reading their reviews and ratings we decided to stay at the Walkabout. So glad we did. We stayed in the Outback, which was a room not located in the main house. The room was quaint with an...

My husband and I needed a time to get away even on a major holiday weekend like the 4th. But the beautiful room was so cozy and even the little living room off the bedroom made it feel like our very own apartment. Breakfast was included and each morning the breakfasts were healthy, tasty, and very gourmet! We were impressed....

My boyfriend and I came here for one night for a wedding in the area and the experience was wonderful. We showed up really late on a Friday night and the hostess was really accommodating. She had just baked fresh cookies and there was wine out for the guests. Beautiful porch and really nice rooms. We had a room that...

Lynne is lovely and personable. It's an old building but with modernized bathrooms, etc. There are wine and chocolate chip cookies available anytime. Rooms have private bathrooms. One even includes a hot tub. Chilled bottled water and chocolate in each room.

We were so excited to get away! Our stay was very welcoming and very friendly. We would love to go back! So much to see in Lancaster. History, dinning, outdoors, parks, shopping, Amish folk , and so much more!

This is a charming B&B, it is close enough to the attractions to be convenient and far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The breakfasts were always delicious. The innkeepers were cordial and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay! We highly recommend it!
