We are staying up in Lancaster for a wedding and the first hotel was horrible. We came over to Eden to hope to get a room. Not only was Jenesy super friendly she also was able to get us two beautiful rooms on the same floor. Jenesy and the Eden saved our trip.

Hotel's Favorite
We enjoyed our first stay since the COVID situation, Have been to this hotel many times. Pros: Villa Room was clean and looked recently updated (we are regulars) Still Pet Friendly Bunk Bed Villa room ideal for families of 4-5. Great Pool, and time slots well managed (people just need to be more understanding) I saw the pool water tested several times, well managed Free Ice Pops for Kids always a nice touch Dinner at Arthurs was good, with good service. For Pet rooms especially, I actually like the "optional" house keeping. Cons (I realize these are due to COVID and lack of employees so hopefully will improve next time) No waitress services around Pool, long wait at times at food/drink truck No Garfields No more prime rib Buffet at Arthurs Inconsistent quality of breakfast buffet (one day eggs runny, one day they were ok) Pool music should be more upbeat, more resort like. Many songs were slow like love songs. actually some depressing. Even Island music would have been better As I say most of these Cons I am sure will improve as the workforce gets back to normal so I was very happy with my stay and will definitely return.

Response from Eden Resort Team, General Manager at Eden Resort and Suites, BW Premier Collection
Responded Aug 8, 2021
Nick, thank you for your review. We appreciate all of your comments and feedback. When we are able to, we have poolside servers; otherwise, Splashers is just steps from the entrance to the Outdoor Pool. We're glad to hear that you will definitely return--we look forward to it. -Eden Resort Team

We have been to Eden many times, but our last trip was very disappointing. The hotel and pool are very nice, but we had two issues. First off, the air conditioning in the hotel was not working properly. All the hallways felt warm, and we could not get the room to be cooler than 73 degrees, even by setting it down to 68. We had multiple rooms and all had the same issue. The only attempted fix was that the maintenance guy put the temperature to 66, but the room still stayed at 73, and they provided a plug in fan to help. Secondly, the wait staff at Arthur's (restaurant at hotel) were extremely rude and unhelpful over the course of many meals. One such meal with the buffet, a member of our group asked where the syrup was, and was told "Its over there in the big urn, with the big words Syrup. I don't know what you people all can't see, its pretty obvious." We will not be returning to Eden anytime soon.

We had a really nice time but for the money we spent, we expected that the pool would be for guests only. The pool was mobbed both days and we overheard many people discussing how they weren’t even staying here. I would highly suggest that guests get bracelets when they check in so that hotel personnel knows who belongs in the pool. The only other “con” is Arthur’s. The breakfast buffet did not look appetizing and the wait for our meal was very, very long. The same critique for dinner.

We’ve stayed at Eden two or three times now and always had a good time except for this last trip. Not sure if it was a fluke or if service has deteriorated. We booked 9 months in advance only to check in and be told our room would be ready in half an hour then receive a call 10 mins later that they double booked and our requested room with bunk beds wasn’t going to become available till the next day. For the inconvenience we were offered a discounted room and could move the next day to our requested room. We were tired from traveling and didn’t want to have to unpack and pack again so we opted to stay in the room given to us. While it was discounted, our kids were so disappointed as they wanted to experience bunk beds and be close to the pool. I would have expected a comped night or free dinner tickets for our party. Then by the time we got into the new room and settled it was time to eat and since it was pouring rain outside we thought to try one of the restaurants on site, Arthur’s terrace. It has a buffet or sit down menu. The buffet did not look inviting with food that looked like it had been sitting there for hours and not replenished so we opted for the sit down menu. We waited a long time for a server to take our drink orders (about 15mins) then another 15 mins for the drinks to come. That’s 30 mins in. Then when we finally got to place our order we waited an hour for the food to come, only for one dish to be missing (pizza) since it wasn’t included and for another to be spicy when we specifically said not spicy (Mediterranean grilled chicken pita). When we complained we weren’t told right away of the mistake made on the staff part till the restaurant manager came out and then to top it off we were told it was because we ordered a lot of food so it took some time. Whaaat?! After complaining, the bill was also discounted but after an unpleasant check-in experience to have a bad dinner one too was just the nail in the coffin for this stay. We really like the hotel grounds but not sure we’ll be coming back for awhile and will probably never eat at Arthur’s again.

We just got back from a 1 night stay at the Eden and we loved it. It was our first visit to the resort. We met some really nice people and my kids had a great time. We were upgraded to one of their suites with a balcony which was amazing! I would definitely recommend this resort. Resort is clean and the staff was very nice. We hope to be back soon!!!

I am happy to say that Eden Resort is back on top of their game! We are still here and are having a wonderful time. Our last couple of stays during COVID weren't the best, but Eden has certainly gotten back to their "A" game. I think Bella at the front desk gave us literally the best room in the hotel. I am so appreciative of her honoring my (probably) annoying request. They also let us check in early to enjoy the pool and our room was ready before 2pm at no extra charge. Could the rooms use a refresh? Probably, but thats purely aesthetics. It's clean and in good condition, plus the TVs are newer and large. If the carpet color or headboard style affects your hotel stay, I would reevaluate your priorities. We have plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a balcony with the best view of their gorgeous pool. Speaking of the pool, it was a perfect temperature and so refreshing to see poolside popsicles are back (see what I did there?). We also have a great poolside lunch from Splashers which I found quite reasonably priced and delicious. It's exciting to see the new pool addition coming soon, although I think more activities would have selfishly been a better investment (lazy river or waterslide anyone?) I understand why they are doing it and I'm sure it will be lovely. We were a little hesitant to return to Eden (this is probably our 7th or 8th stay?) but I can honestly say I am so glad we did! My kids are having a blast and I am glad one of our favorite resorts seems to have weathered the COVID storm and is back to how we remember it!

Nice adult only floor option; however, don’t expect serenity at the pool as music is loud and it was very crowded. Breakfast bar was overpriced and did not taste good. Don’t expect fluffy homemade pancakes as everything tasted like it came out of a box. For the price, I would have expected better effort. Also, don’t expect free coffee in lobby. If coffee machines are working the $3 coffee is good, but maybe Hines were dysfunctional both days. Evening soup and salad option was a great option; however, one soup was Luke warm! Room was nice, bed comfy and lighting options were excellent.

We have been coming here for years and have only stayed in the main hotel building, this year we decided to splurge a bit and get a villa. No wifi the entire stay, our two young boys on the autism spectrum were so upset, if you have kids on the spectrum, you know they NEED wifi when in the room. So needless to say, it was absolute torture not having wifi the entire time, all the hotel staff said was sorry about that. Not willing to help or compensate for it. While getting ready to go to the pool the first day, I got to dress my kids, and their feet are literally black at the bottom, I look at mine, and they are as well. Filthy…then the shower was very hard to get working, had to call someone yet again. It just seemed like a lot went wrong, for spending a lot more money for the villa. It definitely was not worth it, the pool was also gross this year, you definitely need that extra pool that you’re building. Very disappointed this year.
