My family has been visiting Lackawaxen for more than 20 years. We always stay at the Roebling Inn. You couldn't find better innkeepers anywhere on the planet. The breakfasts are delicious and filling (there is always a jar of cookies available) and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Sit on the front porch and wait for the eagles to fly... More

I chose this inn based on location - I wanted to be near water, and I could easily have walked across the street and parked myself on the Delaware River our entire stay (but I didn't). I enjoy birding and saw at least 10 species just from my spot on the river. Breakfasts were bountiful, the innkeepers friendly and helpful,... More

This delightful B & B combines old world ambience with the luxury of all the modern conveniences. While relaxing in the picturesque setting on the front porch overlooking the river you can enjoy the beauty of nature, complete with hovering hummingbirds at the nearby feeder. And prepare to be wowed each morning at breakfast by the delectable dishes prepared by... More

This was our third year at the Roebling. DJ and JoAnn provide everything you need to relax and make the most of your visit. Sitting on their front porch soaking in the view and embracing the sounds of nature is priceless. DJ's breakfast is wonderful! For dinner, Henning's Local in Cochecton is outstanding. A very unique place worth the short... More

My 12 year old grandson and I had a vacation that exceeded our expectations. The Roebling Inn is just as the brochure says; steps away from the river, charming decor, comfortable accommodations, deliciously prepared breakfasts, gracious innkeepers and located next to the Zane Grey Museum on a quite road. We saw the eagles, my grandson fished every and all day... More

We have enjoyed JoAnn and DJ's hospitality over several years now, and we LOVE the Roebling Inn. It is all that you would want both in comfort and in the consistently warm, friendly welcome that our hosts always provide. Highly recommended!!!

We found 1870 Roebling Inn on the internet and booked in for a few days vacation. We wondered if it would be as advertised and found it just as beautiful, welcoming, relaxing and more. DJ and Joann are wonderful hosts and invited us to ask any questions about the inn, places to eat or visit. Our room was bright, spotlessly... More

My stay at the Roebling Inn was intended as a retreat between a family reunion and two 8 hour drives...it was all I hoped for!! The Zane Gray festival next door was a charming and informative activity and the family reunion so much better with a cozy, cool and charming bedroom to snuggle up in at night!!! Thanks for the... We needed a brief getaway and chose the Poconos as the general location. We try to stay at B&Bs when possible. The Roebling Inn on the Delaware is the perfect setting for engaging a change of pace. Situated along the Delaware River (the PA/NY state line), the Inn provides great views from the front porch. The porch is also where... More

Beautiful inn right on the Delaware River. Bald eagles, deer, hummingbirds at the front door. The front porch and the riverfront chairs were perfect for relaxing and contemplating nature, and for watching canoes, kayaks, and rafts float downstream. Breakfasts include fresh fruit and home-baked goodies (blueberry and peach crumble, blueberry coffee cake) and a hot dish served to order (pecan... More
