Came to this park for one to two nights and ended up staying eight nights total. Great little park, good easily accessed sites, clean amenities (set up like an ensuite), immediate walking distance to everything Yamba has to offer (and there is plenty). Great rock fishing and beaches only minutes away, you don't need to drive anywhere.

I recently spent 9 nights in an upstairs unit at the Calypso, and I really can't recommend the whole park highly enough. First there is the location, right on the river and in the centre of town, with a 250 meter walk to Whiting Beach, and another 75 metre walk to Turner's Beach. Once you have parked your car, you... We stayed here for two nights in the off season. It was still extremely busy, probably because of its close proximity to the Clarence river, a number of beaches and lovely town. All restaurants and cafes are an easy walk (very refreshing after a lot of driving) and are centred around Coldstream Street. There is a lovely Italian restaurant serving... More

Yamba is a great holiday location, cabin was Tidy but are infested with cockroaches. I notified staff as we had to throw away our food because the cockroaches got into it and all the lady could do was say they would look into it. not very impressed with her customer service, and sadly will not return to calypso holiday park.... Stayed in a riverside cabin and all was fantastic. Reception was helpful, close to everything, great for kids, cabins clean. Pool was great and shaded in afternoon.. Can walk everywhere and playground awesome for small kids, great bike riding track and close to all beaches. Will definitely return.

Best located park in town. Right near river mouth. Walking distance to beaches including a surf beach. Right next to all the restaurants and cafes of this lovely little village. The site we had was very large and grassy. Amenities are a bit old but there seemed to be plenty of them. I would definitely come again, my wife thought... More

Calypso Holiday Park is in the perfect position.. Walking distance to the shops.. There is a break wall where you can fish off if you are a keen fisherman as it is a little dangerous.. There are lots of fish to be had specially Wobygong Sharks and Tuna.. There is a wharf for the kids to fish and a nice... More

Calypso is one block away from the town Centre, 1 minute walk. All cafes shops cinema are within a 2-5 minute walk so there is no problem with location. Plenty of options for campsites but I'd suggest river side for the best sunsets. There is a walking path that separates the river from sites. The cabins back onto the river... More

Caravan park is in a great location. You can park your car and walk to most beaches. The park is Council run and it is about time that the Council spends some money on the park. Nothing has been done to the park for over 15 years. Amenities are old but very clean. Pool is kept clean. Shame that there... More

We recently stayed at Calypso Holiday Park on a powered site with our caravan. We found the location to be perfect for walking to all shops, beaches, and driving to nearby coastal and country areas. The amenities are very average and dated, but clean and functional. The down side are all the mosquitoes and sandflies/midges both day and night...and the... More
