A group of 8 of us decided to have a weekend away for rafting and fun! We chose the Harry Packer Mansion because it's super cool looking and had great reviews. We did not participate in the murder mystery but we're very pleased with our stay. We arrived on Friday night and were greeted in the parking lot. We were...

You will meet the nicest people, enjoy superbly curated drinks and enjoy a stupendous view of this lovely Victorian gem of a town. I love to have a drink on the veranda but have stayed here as a guest and loved it all. Don't miss this beautifully restored mansion!

The hotel was immaculate and very comfortable. It is in walking distance to all the area shops and restaurants. We went for the murder mystery weekend, which could have been more exciting, but the hosts were very nice and welcoming, the dinner was well done, and we had a very nice weekend.

The Harry Packer mansion was a special treat. It was quiet but only a short walk from the shops, restaurants, and museums in town. The carriage house room was quiet and private but not as fancy as the rooms in the main house. The hostess made a delicious breakfast and gave us helpful suggestions about where to eat and what...

Recently we attended the Murder Mystery Weekend and had a fabulous time. "Inspector" Bob, our friendly innkeeper and murder mystery host, was a wealth of information about the area and the Packer family. He kept us laughing while our characters sorted through the evidence to find the murderer. We actually got to know the other couples attending the weekend, and...

I stayed in Cottage number 2, in the carriage house. It was very clean, the queen sized bed was in the loft. It was built in the 1860's but has all up to date amenities. Breakfast was delicious. If you love staying in a mansion this is for you. If you love looking at craftsmanship and learning a little of...

We had a wonderful stay in this 1874 Victorian mansion. I would highly recommend it! Very convenient to Jim Thorpe for walking to town. We'll be going back again. The innkeepers were very attentive to our needs and we had a great stay. They have special events that include a murder mystery weekend.

My significant other and I stood in Gussie's room for the murder mystery weekend for my birthday and we had an amazing time. Bob and Pat were extremely accommodating. I highly recommend the murder mystery weekend or just stay and visit this amazing house!!!

This Muder Mystery Weekend was my wife, Sue's, surprise birthday gift. What a perfect way to spend her celebration! Our hosts, owners Bob and Patty, could not have been more welcoming, helpful, or accommodating. The mansion has, over many years, though their dedicated hard work, been restored to its glorious and exquisite past beauty. Our "Annie's Suite" was cozy and...

This was a fantastic getaway, The owner and his family did such a great job of making us feel at home. They opened there home to us, providing both comfort and charm that seems missing in today's world. We attended the murder mystery weekend which I highly recommend Bob is a great storyteller and wove a web that was entertaining...
