I have been to B&B's in the US and abroad, but nothing compares to The Parsonage. The historic building is a delight, the furnishings and collections beautiful and amazing. No amenity has been overlooked, from fresh flowers in every room to lush towels, bathrobe and wifi charging station in every guest room, Michael and Jeffri are warm, informative and delightful... The Parsonage B&B was a thoroughly satisfying package for a weekend getaway. Quiet location, but right in the heart of the tourist district. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating. From the moment we arrived we were in good hands, from taking care of our bicycles to providing everything we needed to find our way around the area. The breakfasts... More

We have just spent the weekend in the Margaret Room at The Parsonage B&B and have loved it!!! Michael & Jeffrey & Clara have been excellent hosts. They have provided wonderful suggestions during our first visit to Jim Thorpe. The accommodations have been perfect for a weekend away! From sitting on the porch to the gazebo, we have felt nothing... More

The Parsonage is the best bed and breakfast I have stayed at! The owners are a total delight and the perfect hosts. The rooms are immaculate and so interestingly decorated. Breakfast was delicious! One evening we mentioned we were getting take out and then have dinner on the porch. To our delight when we returned they had set a magnificent... More

This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience. It was truly amazing. The Parsonage is actually a museum within a Bed and Breakfast. There is so much to enjoy there. My husband and I felt comfortable right from the note on the front door when we arrived. Michael greeted us and it felt like we'd known him forever. He showed... More

Out of all the things we did in Jim Thorpe, we cannot stop talking about how amazing The Parsonage was. Michael and Jeffery were impressive hosts. This was our first B&B experience and now we can't wait to go back. I don't know what we will do without Jeffery's breakfast tomorrow morning. We are already planning a trip back in... More

This place is unique and beyond neat and clean. I have never felt so at home and relaxed at any B&B that I have been to, much of that because of the owners Michael and Jeffri...... great people!!! Loved hearing their story about the move into the beautiful house. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and the presentation was to perfection!... More

We stayed at The Parsonage over the July 4th holiday and I'm here to let you know that Michael, Jeffri and Clara (their 15 year old black lab) offer a B&B experience unlike any other. Not only is The Parsonage the oldest, unaltered structure in Jim Thorpe, it's a museum in its own right. Perfectly decorated, every inch of the... More

My husband and I just returned from a three night stay at The Parsonage. It was absolutely wonderful! Michael and Jeffri are excellent hosts who warmly welcomed us into their home and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in Margaret's Suite, which is on the ground floor. This suite was fully... More

For the oldest house in the town, it still has all the up to date amenities including Wifi and a charging station in each room and renovated bathrooms. Also, a lot of art and antique phones and clocks decorate every room. The yard has a Zen garden outside including plants, statues, and a gazebo that lights up at night. Michael... More
