We often visit Wollombi as it's only an hour from home. Spent the night in the Semillon Room. Cheese, biscuits and our complimentary bottle of Shiraz on the balcony was a welcome start to the afternoon. Had dinner at the Wollombi Pub. Returned to our room and had a very relaxing evening followed by a great nights sleep in our... More

We stayed for a mates wedding. We booked all 3 rooms out and they were perfect and the staff were even better. Its the perfect location, close to the Pub and the cafe. The wine tasteing down stairs just tops it off. I will be staying again for sure.

Rented 2 rooms and were very happy. Comfortable (and new) beds, renovated bathrooms in a old colonial style makes it a hit for us. The location was great being right in the centre of town and only 100m to the tavern, cafes and restaurants. Also recommend the Pennino restaurant underneath, best steak I've had in years. All in all a... More

I spent one night here in June whilst working in Wollombi with 2 colleagues, who also stayed here. What a gem! I stayed in the Verdelho room which was spacious and comfortable. Our key was literally under the mat on the doorstep and we let ourselves in. Wollombi is quite small and Grays is within walking distance of everything in... More

We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday at the picturesque old village of Wollombi. The distance from Sydney is just perfect; hour and a half through lovely countryside and there! All rooms are lovely nice room for perfect escape from city. The room came with complimentary bottle of Noyce Brothers fantastic shiraz. We only had one night because of the lack... More

A clean comfortable room in a heritage building with a balcony right in the heart of the village. We had a room without ensuite, but the bathroom was two steps across the hall and effectively our own. A lovely place to stay in the nicest part of the Hunter. Cafes, and the tavern all within a short stroll and Rover... More

We have stayed at this venue 3 times but this time we were the only ones staying at the Inn for 2 nights. Comfortable and relaxing venue. Wonderful cafe & restaurant nearby. We love the free bottle of Noyce wine with the opportunity to do wine tasting downstairs and enjoyed drinking it with a cheese platter sitting on the upstairs... More

Drive past really fast, do not stop!!! The room was shabby, the bed felt like we were sleeping on a wash board as every slat came through the mattress. Insects crawling over us all night and we paid $185 for this villager, no breakfast included, not even a toaster. We were booked in for two nights, after returning to the... More

This is a three room property in a heritage building in which the lower floor is a wine cellar door sales room. Only two rooms have ensuite and the other (the one we had) accesses a bathroom off the first floor landing. Access is up a set of very steep narrow stairs to all rooms. There is no reception desk...
