Online booking system dreadfully old - like using Lotus Notes in the 1990s. I've been a regular visitor for more than a decade. Cabins could do with some freshening up but quite comfortable and acceptable for the location, in a secluded part of Thredbo overlooking the river. Can be a pain to cart luggage from the road, but upside is... More

Been staying here in the summer for about 7 years Each cabin is furnitured differently so your quality of stay can vary. They provide photos of each place when booking so you can get a good idea But you usually get a good nights sleep. Even though it is situated at the end of thredbo you can still walk into... More

The Thredbo Riverside Apartments are beautifully situated including access to the snow and to the village. It suited us wonderfully and we strongly recommend it. The only reason I didn't give it the top marks was because some minor maintenance is required. Especially the carpeting. Unfortunately there was an exposed carpet tack on which my son punctured his foot. I... More

Great little place to stay & reasonable in price. Close to the village & lifts with no big hills to climb after a day snowboarding. Only issue is that some rooms still have ladders to get up to the loft (others have stairs) which can be a little tricky when you have jelly legs after a full day of boarding!... More

Thredbo quite amazing on the Australia day weekend. Riverside Cabins the best. So compact and nifty with absolutely everything you need. everything works is clean neat, warm and very clever layout affording a very comfortable weekend. The view is great and the location of these cabins is the best in Thredbo. The sun pours in and the view is fantastic.... More

We stayed at the riverside cabins in August 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed every part! Rooms: rooms were a good size with a queen bed in the upstairs loft and a gold out lounge in the sitting area. Bed was comftable, clean & well made. Furniture downstairs could use a refurb. Bathroom: was pretty small with only a shower, but did... More

We stayed for three nights at the beginning of March in a one bedroom cabin with loft. The cabins are not overly spacious but ours was well equipped and very comfortable. We have two children aged 9 and 13, they shared the loft and we found that upstairs space was bigger than we had expected. They enjoyed it very much.... More

We stayed for 6 nights over christmas with our 2 adult children and had a great time. Our cabin (number 24) was well located overlooking the river and well fitted out and everything worked. The cabin was on the small side but well laid out and even with 4 adults we were not falling over each other. The kitchen is... More

We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter break 2012. Were in one of the furtherest cabins from the road and right on the River. Two couples shared a unit with one bedroom and a loft with twin beds upstairs, however only one bathroom with no seperate toilet. Would not recommend for a Winter stay - if you are skiers... More

We were late in making our booking and I thought that being one of the only places left available over Easter (and having read the reviews on Tripadvisor) that we would have very ordinary accommodation. I was very surprised! We had cabin 24 that was right on the river, it must have been recently renovated as the carpet and furniture... More
