The host was very responsive to a query we had when we booked, which was great. He also was very prompt both when checking in and when we had an issue with batteries in the remote. Very friendly and nothing was a problem. Kitchen area very well equipped and the unit was clean. They are also doing up other units.... More

This place took us back to a time when things were simpler and the thread count of the sheets or the dimensions of the TV weren't the main determinant of the attractiveness of a property. The cottages are quite simple, but beautifully clean and comfortable, with good beds, adequate kitchens, lots of hot water in the shower, efficient air conditioners... More

My Wife and I stayed in a Water Front Cottage, for a Week, recently. We actually called up to come in a day early and it was not a problem for Rebecca. The place is clean, and everything is provided for the self contained cabins. Good T.V. reception, and DVD player. They rent out everything, from movies, bait/ fishing gear,... More

I recently took my family of 4 down to Alonga cabins. A definite recommendation from all 4 of us. The kids loved it so much we're planning another trip in January. Canoeing and catching fish was fun, the beach which was just up the road was stunning, absolutely beautiful. Rebecca the owner was so easy to talk to and organise... More

The woman who owns Alonga Cottages and came to stop the abuse of the couple, IS NOT THE MOTHER of this abusive boy child that was abusing these people, the behaviour of the adult who was NOT the manager/caretaker was there only to assist while staying in house, the owner was horrified and tried to stop the situation,( as by... I recently stayed a t Alonga Cottages and found it to be one of those very few places in the world that as soon as you get out of your car and take a deep breath all the weight of the world slips away, it was truly a spiritual place. After a two week stay I found the accommodation outstanding... More

Stayed here with family and friends. Beautiful spot on the water. Excellent customer service. They even leant an old bike to our friend who were short one and were generally very helpful. Had some great and relaxing Bush and river front rides, played golf with the kangaroos, did the boutique movie cinema, walked into town many time along the pristine... More

Sussex inlet is a little piece of paradise set on the South Coast of NSW and we are frequent visitors to this area. It is a place that you can fish, surf at a nearby beach, sail and waterski in the lake called St. Georges Basin. There is a great variety of accomodation in the form of caravan parks/ cabins.... I have just returned to Sydney after going back to Alonga Cottages for a couple of nights stay having previously stayed here on a family holiday in 2006. Yet again it was very enjoyable with clean chalets well supplied with all you will need. The situation is ideal in the resort being only a 10 minute walk from the centre... More
