We had booked early October to stay for two nights starting Christmas Eve for a cost of $240. On a positive note the room was very clean and has a great location in Narooma but the rest of my visit was not so positive! The room was quite small and very tired. It seriously needs an update. The walls were...

I have never stayed at a Motel where the owners are around continually working, and are there to ask for any assistance, or just to say hello. Really nice owners. Farnboro Motel Narooma is an old style Motel, very clean and quite well maintained. The pool needs resurfacing, as there are a few rust spots on the bottom, other than...

We were really impressed with our stay here. Great value for money. The manager was friendly and welcoming. The motel was very clean and well equipped, with a lot of thought put into making it comfortable and welcoming as well as practical. Inviting large coffee cups and matching bright and cheery teapot with a generous jug of milk were provided,...

The couple running this place are so unsuitable for this role it is incredible. Inept, stressed behaviour are examples of hour the conduct business. Worn out, rough old towels need replacing now. It is advertised food is available, incorrect! Clean enough. The room rates can alter with the mood of the managers. The pool was filled with grunge- tough if...

Stayed one night, it's budget but it's clean and comfortable the bed linen is of excellent quality ( didn't expect that) even the soap provided was great it actually lathered up! Could do with an update but the owners are lovely and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 3 nights after New Years, reception was extremely helpful, rooms were clean & comfortable. Could do with an update but for the price we were very happy, would stay there again if we are ever back down that way. Rooms were beautifully dark which was good for us as we are into photography so we had late...

Sitting here writing my review with the noisy cars passing my window on the Pacific Highway. Very used and old furnishings. Very old and tired bathroom. The floor could use a sweep in the bathroom especially behind the door but hey, budget price, budget hotel. It's very easy to find. The air con worked. It's very handy to town and...

We rode up the Princes Highway, entered the 50 km/h area and the Farnboro Motel slipped into view as we travelled past. A quick U-Turn had us there. The room was brilliant. Big tv, lots of tea making stuff, a good jug of fresh milk from the host and clean fresh beds. There was no meal service, or a restaurant...

Spent four days in Narooma recently as part of a car group get together, and while it reinforced to me that the south coast of New South Wales is a fantastic place to visit, this little motel stood out as worth mentioning. The motel is an older style smaller motel, but don't let that put you off, as it is...

Once a year a group of Lotus 7 Clubman enthusiasts run a national Clubman roundup in various locations around the country. This year it was held at Narooma and the majority of the group stayed at the Farnboro Motel (others stayed elsewhere as the majority of our group filled all the rooms). We were greeted by Michael (another Lotus 7...
