#2 of 7 B&Bs / Inns in Narooma
A gorgeous water frontage farmstay self contained cottage for two, high on a hill overlooking the lovely Wagona Inlet and with views to Mt Dromedary in the South. Peaceful, tranquil and welcoming. Hear only the sounds of the birds as you relax on your private terrace and gaze at the views. Only ten minutes from both the seaside town of Narooma and the National Trust village of Central Tilba, Pub Hill is an ideal stopover on the way from Sydney to Melbourne. But plan to stay two nights at least...this area has plenty to offer and is one of the loveliest parts of the stunning NSW South Coast.

The winding unpaved road to serenity. Warm bread hospitality on arrival. The comfortable home away from home. The cosy fireplace. The solitude of spouse and pet companion. The host of stars that shine so brightly. The myriad birds. The glorious sunrise. The ebb and flow in the river below. These all made a wonderful well rested week. Macarthur said “I shall return” and as Schwarzenegger so succinctly put it “I’ll be back”. And should God permit, we shall. Bill, Robyn and Ralff the wonder dog.

Stayed two nights in the "Garden Room", which was very spacious, clean and functional. Mikki and Ian were delightful hosts and their breakfast were high quality, but at a volume of your choice. Their three Border Collies are hilariously clever and cheeky. Narooma a great little town with magnificent coastline (and golf course). Like many of their guests, we will return to Pub Hill Farm. Thanks again, one of our nicest ever B&B stays.

We had the garden room and it was exactly as published on website. It was comfortable and cosy. Has a private garden space if you don't want to mingle with other guests. Breakfast is huge (if you so desire). The road up to it made me a bit nervous (but that's me, lol). At dusk a few wallabies jumped in front of car so beware. The whole stay was so relaxing and peaceful. Room equipped with microwave, fridge, crockery, glasses and cutlery. There isn't any wi-fi and our mobile signal wasn't always great ( we didn't mind but you might). It is a very dog friendly place. We do not have dogs and enjoyed the 3 collies and their antics but if you are scared of dogs this is not the place for you. My son, who had stayed in a different room, recommended the place. He wasn't wrong. I hope to

We were so sorry we didn't get to meet you while you were at Pub Hill, having been in Melbourne for a few days, but we're sure Helen looked after you beautifully and she reported you were both delightful to host. We do have WiFi but it is rather patchy I'm afraid, which is why we don't advertise it. Perhaps Helen forgot to mention that you can usually connect at some point around the house…phone reception is usually excellent though. Hope the rest of your Australian holiday goes well and that next time we will get to meet you should you return to Pub Hill Farm. Micki and Ian

My wife makes the itinerary so for me it is alwarys a surprise where we stay. This time the drive to the Pub Hill Farm went on an unpaved road through the hilly valley just outside Narooma. And what a lovely spot, the view was excellent down on the lakes and the rooms were perfect; breakie even better. Both Ian en Micki were very warm and friendly and their 3 border collie dogs couldn't stay away from our room. We had a wonderful stay here and would like to come back some day.

What more can I add to all the wonderful acurate reviews (except for the confused man in November who must have reviewed the wrong B&B). This B&B is exactly what you want from an old school B&B . I've have stayed twice now & will be back. The croft is my new favourite as it was perfect for my 2 dogs. The only comment ( not negative) is if you need a large king size bed - this is not the room for you. Breakfast is above and beyond expectation.
