Older style motel but rooms well appointed. Very very clean room. Great location. Fantastic service. Our plans had us arriving late 10.30pm. Received phone call to advise room number & door open with key in room. Lovely touch when we arrived and heater had been put on in advance. (Cold time of the year). Recommend

Stayed here for 1 night to climb mt warning. The rooms are nice, have everything you need. Good walking distance to shops, places to eat and a nice park. There is also a BBQ and seating you can use. We had car issues on the day we were checking out and couldn't get there in time for check out. All... More

This is a traditional Australian motel - not flash/trendy, but clean and comfortable and roomy, with friendly managers who were keen to please. It is 2-3 blocks from the eateries in the heart of town. Breakfast was good and delivered on time, including a special-diet item.

Comfortable room, good queen size bed, quiet location, all the facilities we needed. Hosts obliging with extra requests. Room had microwave, fridge, jug toaster, air con, fan, clock and basic crockery and ample tea, coffee and milk. Only problem was sink in bathroom which being older design took up lots of space in small area. Host assured us replacement is... More

We spent only one night here (double room Aud$94.50 tax incl) and found it to be very comfortable, clean, and well located for an easy walk into the charming town of Murwillumbah (just south of Queensland in New South Wales). Both of us would have enjoyed more time in the town and the area, and we would have been happy... More

I suppose for a town like theirs econo lodge would just be perfect for a short stay and good night rests. We were comfortable and the reception staff were easy to talk to and helpful. We just found the toilet and bath not spacious and I didn't find any spoon/fork. The shampoo provided was just for one wash. So small.... More

We were lucky enough to score a room with a view to Mt Warning from the balcony. The hotel is close to town yet quiet. Easy walk to the retail\restaurant strip. Generous sized double room was very clean.

Visiting friends for the day and decided against driving back to Brisbane in the dark and torrential rain, so phoned on the off chance as it was high season, really helpful lady, gave us room 32, top floor on the end. Colleen was lovely and nothing was too much trouble....the view from our second floor room and balcony of Mt. Warning and surroundings was superb, the room was very clean and comfortable .... being so close to the centre of Murwillumbah, a 10minute stroll put the 'cream on the cake" Thanks Colleen, you will see us again.
