We stayed over Easter. After reading previous reviews (after booking) I was quite concerned for what I had done. We were in an up stairs room which meant undercover parking which would have been awesome if it was raining or really hot and needing shade. Our room was clean enough, although I know a lot of motels / hotels have moved away from bed spreads now and use sheets with the doona tucked inside - that feels a lot more hygienic knowing they get washed! The room was spacious but we did miss bed side tables. There was a table and 2 chairs. The air con worked well, as it was unseasonally warm. We didn't use the spa jets in the bath. Every time we flushed the toilet there was a huge noise just after flushing that sounded like a pump pumping water up to the toilet? So as not to annoy the people in the room next door, we didn't flush late at night or early morning (yuck i know) Also, the bed head and mattress - the bed wasn't very comfortable - it was very firm, but also the bed head squeaked every time we moved in bed - awkward There was no soap to wash hands at the sink, so we had to use one of the shower / bath gels which got messy. I did miss not having contact with staff on our arrival - that personal touch is always nice, but we got our room key from the auto check in machine. We purchased supplies from IGA to make our breakfast - and was able to store the food in the full sized mini fridge (that is there was room for the food and drinks). The room served its purpose for the weekend. We stayed 2 nights and our room wasn't made up after the first night - something we are used to with other motels / hotels

The receptionist was very nice - she let us have a very late check-out and stored the fish that my partner had caught- and there were lots. The downside- the bathroom was a little run down, there was no microwave, and the hotel grounds were a bit of an eye sore but the location was good so that made up for it.

Was really not happy with this place for our family. Unclean and untidy all round. Was disappointed to experience mouldy showers, heaps of cobwebs, unclean pool, no office staff, air con not working, no fly screens on window, dirty towel, wet towel, general untidiness of the outdoor area, bbq area dirty, room smelt very musty inside, blankets in cupboard were unfolded and smelt, no laundry facility, found a few spiders including a white tip in the bathroom. Wasn’t worth the $150 a night that we paid. Motel was close to everything which was good and there was lots of beds in the rooms.

I spend 4 days in this motel and I will not recommend this place to anyone. First of all it’s overpriced with $150 per night. This is large property with 18 rooms and parking available on the site. And swimming pool too which is so small for such an amount of the rooms. What I wasn’t happy about was terrible smell non stop on the balcony and parking. No big surprise there since we had the biggest waste bin in the front of our room. The seats on the balcony where covered with dust and cobwebs so sitting outside was out of questions.Interior was just but just acceptable. The cleanliness wasn’t the best .Only good thing about is location which is conveniently close to everything.

Look past being a tired complex and you will find a very clean, friendly and central place to stay. Arrived about 4.30pm, met with machine to issue key, not keen, but it works. Room 7, ground floor. There are rooms upstairs with undercover parking. Although on main road, I didn't hear any traffic noise. Very clean and comfortable Queen bed, spotless bathroom. Usual appointments, jug, toaster, microwave plus an empty bar refrigerator, no mini bar, suits me, iron and board. Could do with a clock radio. Small table with 2 chairs. Very good, quiet, split system air conditioner. Free WiFi, but not good. The complex has a free covered bar-b-que area with several large tables and stacks of chairs, right next to the small pool. If you take the short cut around the corner and through the carpark, it's a gentle stroll around to a full size Woolworths and BWS, plus the amenities of the main street. If travelling by bus, both north and south bus stops are also a very short, flat, stroll away. I paid $135 per night, just before Christmas, normally I would say that was a bit high, but it was school holidays and near Christmas. Yes, the property is very tired, HOWEVER, I was advised by the Manager that it is under new ownership and plans have been approved for a complete refurbishment.
