Blue lagoon is located in an excellent part of lord howe island. Close to everything, yet still tucked away. On pick up from the airport they gave us a quick trip around the island pointing out various parts. The accommodation has everything you need (we stayed in unit 14, up the back). The family who run blue lagoon are lovely,...

The room may not be deluxe or anything but you'll be outside exploring everyday anyway. Everything was very clean and the bed was very good and that's important. Nice porch to sit outside. Because cooking facilities are very basic you have to go out for dinner and there are not to many options when you are vegetarian.

Had a great stay at Blue Lagoon on LHI. Fantastic location between Lagoon beach and Ned's beach. Pretty much everything was within walking distance. The lodge and gardens were immaculate. The staff really helpful all the time. Special thanks to Des for helping us with our flight changes - went above and beyond the call of duty. Will stay there...

We stayed for a week in a one bedroom apartment. We were met at the airport and given a lot of useful information and taken on a short orientation tour of nearby spots as an introduction to the island and the resort. The staff are pleasant and helpful, there is good information in the provided and the BLL is in...

We were there in February 2016. Mind you, it was supposed to have been late January 2015, but the weather ' set in' and the planes couldn't 'get in' so we descended in February on the flight from Sydney. The accommodation at Blue Lagoon is a bit out dated as are most of the other places. But given the fact...

We booked a one bedroom apartment at this friendly hotel, but ended up with a family unit. This was very large, with a double bedroom and a single bed in the corridor outside, but the unit was right round the back of the property away from the other rooms we had actually booked, and was rather too basic for our...

My partner and I booked a studio room and were surprised by how big it was. It was comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are well kept. There is a laundry room with washing machine. Bikes are available for hire on location. The location in town is excellent. It is a...

You cannot beat blue lagoon for location! 100 m to lagoon, right in the heart of the small town area, and a 10 minute stroll to Neds beach and old settlement. The units are comfortable although a little dated. New barbqs, clean rooms, friendly staff and immaculate gardens. Bikes available to hire, a 20 m walk to Thompsons store and...

Our party of eight stayed here and we were all very pleased with our choice. The location is very central and only a few minutes walk to shops and the lagoon. It is also only about ten minutes easy walk to Ned’s Beach, meaning that you can always find a protected spot no matter what the wind is doing. The...

Blue Lagoon Lodge was something of an 'extra' for us on our one week stay on Lord Howe. Our Friday flight had been cancelled due to a bird strike on landing and so the friendly staff at Qantas Link managed to find us overnight accommodation in a Studio Room at The Blue Lagoon. Whilst the accommodation is a little dated,...
