Vin and Mrs Merlot have stayed once a year for a number of years as an overnight stay on a drive from Melbourne to Canberra. New operators in the past 12 months. Friendly enough but with room to improve. We stayed in a premium room or executive room can't recall what it was called - but we prefer to stay...

We arrived very late at night and hotel manager was accomodating by allowing us to book late. It was a very hot night and it would have been great if the air conditioner was turned on when before we arrived. The room never cooled down. We stayed in the older part of the hotel at the rear, older decor and...

We had an overnighter here and motel is fine for that. There is an older Section at the back and the room we had allocated was there - pretty basic but got what you pay for. My adult daughter has allergies and is a perfect radar for clean carpets - needless to say she sneezed all night but surface area...

Motel is clean, friendly and right in the centre of town. A stroll to the pub in the evening and a few doors down from a decent cafe in the morning. We stayed in a standard room. The price was reasonable and the facilities good. Beds were comfy and room was quiet.

Nice, clean, comfortable room - quiet and with lots of extra nice touches like a toaster, bowls and proper cutlery. We had the standard room for $99 and it was quite adequate. Well placed for a trip from Melbourne to Sydney and within walking distance to the Family Hotel (decent pub food) for dinner. Would stay again.

We stayed in the deluxe room. 2 adults and two young teens. Although next to the main road through Gundagai this spot was quiet and the motel very clean. Great for our family of four and a quick overnight stop.

We booked a deluxe twin room for a one night stay on our way from Gisborne, Victoria to Wollongong, NSW- this was our second stay at this motel. Excellent location - short walking distance to RSL Club and the Family Hotel - both recommended - Family Hotel though is number one. The deluxe rooms are at the front with a...

We arrived at the motor inn when we said 7pm. The office hours are from 8am to 10pm. No one was there a man was walking across the road calling out so i assumed it was the owner. I told him i was checking in. He opened the door and let me in he went for a wonder around the...

This motel is really so well located in Gundagai, being far enough off the main road as to be fairly quiet, but still handy to all amentities. The room was comfy and adequate,, free wifi, (although a little slow). We thought the biggest drawcard (for us) was the proximity to the Services Club. We would stay here again.

We booked a room for two people, but then had a problem when daughter wanted to travel with us, and all the rooms with bedding for more than one person showed as booked. We called them up- and it turned out that they had given us a room with a double and single, which we REALLY appreciated. The room itself...
