Mossgrove is a beautiful home situated just a few kilometres outside of Dorrigo surrounded by a superb garden and rolling green hills. We stayed for three nights recently, having returned after almost eight years, and we were not disappointed. Mossgrove is still a fabulously comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The guest accommodation is first-rate and the breakfasts scrumptious. We... More

We visited this place during our Australia trip in November 14. The location was great and the owners are too friendly. A very nice breakfast, clean and relatively close to the dorrigo national park. I even went for a nice run there. I recommend this place, go there and experience the silence and nature.

There are places you go to just relax and get away, and there are places that ground you, remind you of what your values are, of what the true pleasures of life are and that enable you to appreciate the time you have now and drive you to dream for a better future. Nothing truer can be said for Sue... More

Hi Sarah, Well all I can say is that you brought tears to my eyes. You truly captured the very blessed life we have here at Mossgrove with the very simple things in life, wonderful clean air, pristine spring water, and the the sounds of birds to wake you in the morning just to name a few. We thank you... More

Can I just start by saying what welcoming and flexible hosts John and Sue are, they made planning our wedding a dream. I would recommend Mossgrove purely on the kind nature of the owners, but that's not all this pleasing venue has to offer. Although Sue was absent over the wedding weekend John did a magnificent job. Mossgrove Bed and... More

Hi Alaina, Thank you for your very kind words and so very pleased that you and Nathan enjoyed your wedding day so much. I am very sorry I missed your big day but John told me you had everything organised down pat and the fact that the weather was ideal made it a magic day. The garden was in its... More

You go to Dorrigo for world heritage listed rainforest, and the largely agricultural town of Dorrigo itself is not overly picturesque, so it makes sense to seek out something with its own bit of special. Mossgrove is a 5 minute drive from Dorrigo, set on an old farm property with a sprawling garden that obviously loves the wet climate. It's... More

Thank you Natalie for taking the time to write a review, it is very much appreciated. It was lovely meeting your family and to see the girls playing with Jess and Tess, rounding up the chooks and checking out the cows was a real delight. Hearing the screams of laughter from the girls as they watched some of the DVD's... More

We just had 7 wonderful nights at Mossgrove, our hosts John and Sue were outstanding, they could not do enough for us - brekky was awesome. Located a short drive from Dorrigo , Mossgrove is in an ideal super quiet location, the gardens and overall presentation of this B & B is a credit to the hosts. Highly recommend a... More

Mossgrove Bed and Breakfast is a haven. Our second visit was in Sept-Oct 2015 for a week following 4 nights in 2014. It's impeccably clean, beautifully presented and the garden delights with its variety of spaces and more than 1600 different plants. Sue and John are the most welcoming hosts you could hope to find, friendly and helpful, fun to... More

A delightful 2 nights spent at Mossgrove, with glorious gardens in lush green countryside 8 kms outside Dorrigo. Private, relaxing, spacious and comfortable accommodation, very yummy afternoon tea on our arrival and great choices for our gourmet breakfasts. We wanted for nothing and enjoyed chatting with our convivial hosts, John and Sue.

Their website does not give it justice! Amazing place! Everything perfect! Will be going back to Dorrigo just so we can stay there again. The accommodation, the hospitality, the garden and the location could not be better. Could stay there a week.

I recently purchased a gift certificate for my parents for a romantic getaway at Mossgrove. To their disappointment they couldn't go, but to my delight (and much to my husband's) we jumped at the chance. The glorious gardens, (not to mention the most exquisite collection of bonsai!), relaxing setting, and the friendliest dog:) But it was the warm hospitality of... More
