Very bright, open, great breeze, user friendly, good use of space, good tv size (large), spa was already hot and ready to go, just around corner from beach break restaurant. Beware only a partition seperates the two main bedrooms, and all other 6 occupants essentially are in a garage, no undercover parking on site. All in all a great to... More

Fantastic, modern, spacious apartments. Paddle up Killock Creek from the back door for a leisurely drift inland or out to the beautiful Crescent Head break, a listed surfing reserve. 10 minutes in Crescent and you're so laid back you're horizontal. If you're a bit more active than lying on the beaches spotting whales and dolphins there's so many activities within... More

My family and I have stayed numerous times in various villas . On all occasions the Villas were very clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . My favorite Villa would have to be Villa 5 as it seems to be larger and has direct access to the Creek where I could either walk up the creek with... More

There are four villas side-by-side located near a mangrove creek in crescent head. The rooms are modern and well appointed, and all of the appliances are good quality as are the fittings. The spa was wonderful which the kids spent much of the day in! It was easy to cook with a good array of everything you needed. The only... More

My husband and I needed accommodation close to Kempsey after working away for the day. I read the reviews for Sun Worship and decided to keep looking for alternate accommodation. Since there is nothing else less than 20 years old within 45 mins we ended up booking Sun Worhsip. VERY GLAD WE DID! The accommodation was lovely, clean and new... More

We stayed in Villa 1 in March (2 adults, 1 child, 1 dog) for 6 nights. It was perfect for us. The location is great and everything is within walking distance. It was very clean and everything seemed new. The local food was great but no where for a nice breakfast. We can't wait to stay again. I can't understand... More

My husband and I had a really lovely long weekend with friends (another couple) last week in Villa 5. The villa is really nice - the two bedrooms upstairs were huge as were the ensuites. The ensuite I was in probably could do with a bigger shower especially given the ample empty space in there but that's me being really... More

We have just returned from 6 nights at Sun Worship. I think the location of the villas is not ideal - in the middle of residential homes with dogs that bark consistently all night and day and local neighbourhood kids screaming out at 6.30am. I would imagine downstairs would be lovely in the summertime but at this time of the... More

My wife, myself and 3 children(13,9 and5) have just had 6 nights in villa 4. We all loved it. I don't understand the negative reviews as the spa was beautiful and clean and the kids were always in it. We met the people who maintain the villas and they couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. They even took us through... More

I should have taken the no replies to emails and phone messages as a sign. Owner/Manager was very difficult to get in touch with. The villas look great on-line but in real life they are not very comfortable or clean. We lifted the lid on the spa & re-placed it straight away...way too many things floating on the surface &... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sun Worship villas show how eco-designed buildings can be both stunningly beautiful and thoroughly liveable. These five Crescent Head holiday homes place a tiny resource footprint on our planet, making them world-class examples of green housing. They use recyclable building materials, such as rammed earth walls, and employ passive heating and cooling design to maintain a perfect living temperature. The villas' interior layout is superb for holiday living (and temperature-controlling airflow). Doors and wall panels can be opened up, providing the sensation of being in an even larger indoor-outdoor space. The intelligent design enables up to 10 people (and your doggie too!) to be comfortably accommodated, depending on the villa. Being green doesn't mean any loss of amenities. Every villa has a bubbling spa on the deck, huge plasma TVs and DVD players (with recent movies), washing machines, driers and WiFi. Fluffy white towels and crisp linen sheets are included, so all you need to bring are your togs. Crescent Head is a peaceful beachside town that has escaped the ravages of over-development. Surfers love the famous Point Break but there is also a quiet tidal lagoon for kids to paddle in. Sun Worship backs onto Killick Creek reserve, giving direct access to the beaches, walks, fishing and canoeing. ... more   less

“I would ask for the Villa at the very end (I think Villa 6) as it has a lovely big courtyard, with outdoor table setting that actually gets some sun on it and it also has a larger glassed balcony upstairs. I do wonder how it would be for "mozzies" in the warmer months though as it directly overlooks the ugly damp creek at the back of the complex”
