We spent a week in one of the cabins and could not have been happier. The location was fantastic, just off the beach an the facilities were first rate. Whilst it was not peak season I think the mix of cabins to van spots and camping is just right. Will certainly be back.

Small caravan/holiday park only 15 minute stroll into the Byron Bay action. Right on the spectacular beach with brilliant surfing literally on your doorstep. Start of the amazing (but tough) walk to the lighthouse, saw plenty of whales and dolphins on this walk! The park is tidy and very well maintained, ammenities block and camp kitchen first class but the...

Hi Robert P Thank you for the excellent feedback! Sounds like you had a fantastic time here at North Coast Holiday Parks Clarkes Beach. We are very lucky to be located in one of Australia’s finest destinations, I agree that the Lighthouse walk is challenging but well worth it, especially this time of the year when the whales come through!...

this park has the best frontage right on the bay with plenty of surf only metres away. Shady areas with good size caravan and camping sites Walking distance to township (10mins) friendly helpful staff and spotless amenities. Great park for kids and bike riding although no skateboards allowed. Would highly recommend booking as it is a popular park!!!

Checked in to a 2 bedroom cabin. Dead and live ants in every corner and behind blinds, couch, under beds, etc. Swept up ourselves to note that floor probably had not been vacuumed prior to our arrival due to the amount of dust, hair, etc. amongst the ants. Mould in ceilings of bunk bedroom and bathroom and all over the...

This caravan park location was PERFECT, located directly on clarkes beach, this was a breath of fresh air. It was just a couple of minutes on the push bikes into town on a flat pathway. You could do the whole lighthouse walk from your caravan site. (We didn't as it was a bit far for our 1, 4 and 7...

I'd just like to say, first of all, how jealous I am of anyone who is staying, or is due to stay at this camp-site anytime soon. Of all the campsites we stayed on during our month in Australia, this was far and away the best. Beautiful location surrounded by trees and backing right onto the beach. Slightly out of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Want to be close to the splendor of nature but not too far from the reassuring hiss of a cappuccino machine? Then Clarkes Beach Holiday Park is your perfect holiday destination. A recent winner of the prestigious Environment Excellence Award, it provides a serene, tranquil environment, with an abundance of plant and animal life. It is an oasis amongst the sand dunes with its modern facilities, amazing views and great atmosphere. It is also within walking distance – and if you take the beach route, what a walk that is! – to Byron Bay, and all the delights that bustling town has to offer, be they shopping, eating or entertainment. Some of Australia’s most iconic beaches: Main Beach, The Pass and Wategoes Beach are all within walking distance of the park, and all have something extraordinary to offer. For the surfer there are those world famous waves, for the family there is squeaky white sand, crystal clear water and the reassurance of patrolled areas, and not to forget the simple pleasures such as enjoying a picnic lunch on the park’s own viewing platform while watching, spellbound, as the migrating whales pass. ... more   less
