My partner and I stayed here on a cold winter night. Rachel was so very friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and lovely and warm. And relaxing and chatting in front of the fireplace after we got back from dinner was just wonderful. Rachel cooked us such a delicious breakfast with the best poached eggs. I would have loved...

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful house. Very clean, warm, comfortable, gorgeous furniture. Hosts are kind, friendly and generous to their guests. Breakfast is a delicious gourmet feast and very satisfying. We recommend dinner at Le Tres Bon, about five mins walk. Recommended for a quiet relaxing couples retreat.

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend away at The Old Stone House, staying two nights. On arrival on a quite cold late afternoon and on a motorcycle in June, we were so grateful to be welcomed with a roaring fire, mulled wine and fresh baked cookies. The room we stayed in was absolutely lovely and very charming...

We stayed in the golden elm room. Rachel and all pets were very welcoming. We were here to celebrate our anniversary. The fire burning was amazing and the homemade biscuits impressive. We will be back.

A stay in the Old Stone House is a delight. The building is full of character. There are extensive gardens and pleasant nooks in which to sit outside. The afternoon tea and imaginative breakfast are delicious. Bungendore itself is interesting. The Stone House is in walking distance of the village. This is a great place to stay, especially if en...

Our hosts, Debbie, John and their daughter Rachel were very warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. A big roaring log fire was the...
