We visited on the long weekend and enjoyed our stay. The location is good. The only downside is its proximity to the highway which can be noisy but after a couple of nights, we kind of got used to it. The amenity block we were closest to was clean and modern but upon visiting the other block (closer to the... More

Nice clean little park. Only down fall was no pool or play area for children. Nice walk into town, great for fishing. Staff at the reception were helpful & friendly. Would recommend this park to friends.

This was a nice park to stay in. You can walk to town as there are tracks and paths the whole way, or a very short drive if you prefer to drive. Being pet friendly is a bonus for campers with dogs! We didn't bring our dog but it's good to know! The only negative is the noise from the... More

We loved this park. It ticked all the boxes, easy access from the freeway, 5min bike ride to town, and close to our favourite beer garden in all of Australia - Hotel Brunswick. It is right on the river, which is spectacular - teaming with wildlife, with a little private boat ramp for tinnies and the fish were jumping out... More

Not a bad park, could use more slab sites though. About a 10-15 minute walk into town, which isn't too bad as you don't have to walk along the main road heading in. The path is dirt, so could be a pain if wet weather is hanging around. Not sure why they allocated all of the river sites to tents... More

A modern, well-equipped, dog-friendly, well-grassed park on the banks of the Brunswick River. We could hear the highway traffic, but it was not loud enough to cause a disturbance. Five minute drive into the township. Great for a bike ride or walk! The dog-friendly beach was amazing!

Very neat park. Amenities modern and clean. Nice spot by the river BUT... the highway noise is atrocious! Goes 24/7. Such a shame. Spots at the very back of park may be a little better however, when we were there, they'd had a lot of rain recently and sites were very soggy.

A great caravan park right on the Brunswick River and a short walk to the co-op and a slightly longer walk to the pub and beach. The park is pet friendly - hope it stays that way as not all people had their dogs on leads - and the amenities were very modern. The only negative is the noise from... More

Hi Cath C We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review for us. Unfortunately the minority can ruin things for the majority and not restrain their pets as they are requested to upon check in, we try to manage this as closely as possible though. The highway can be bothersome at times but hope the beautiful location... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With the beautiful Brunswick River at its doorstep and magnificent Mt Chincogan as its backdrop, Ferry Reserve Holiday Park makes the most of its dramatic setting. Named after its location, the site of the first ferry to cross the river, this park is a safe and accessible place for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. Because it has its own boat ramp - the only park in this area to do so - it is the obvious choice for the committed fisherman or boater. Brunswick Heads with its patrolled surf beach and vibrant cafes is only a three minute drive away. Or, for a safe and healthy family outing, there is a dedicated path/cycleway to town that does not cross any major roads. ... more   less
