Possibly the coldest place we have ever stayed in. For such a small room you would imagine the heater to be able to warm it well. No such luck, from the moment we arrived (and the heating was turned on from the fuse box) to the moment we left warmth was but a dream.

My partner and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip to the snow. At first we were unsure with the motel rooms down a little corridor but, if you are working on a budget then this place offers everything you need for a great price! We had a queen room which was small but fine for the two of... More

Host Dave was very helpful in providing last minute accommodation for family and friends for Easter fishing trip. The rooms were clean and tidy and the price was exceptionally reasonable. Thank you for a fantastic holiday break.

The room was stuck in a 1970's time warp. The bed was extremely umcomfortable and the heater didn't work. When I brought the broken heater to the attention of the "owners" they could not fix the problem nor give us any alternatives. The walls themselves are paper thin. You could hear everything from the room next door, including the television.... More

We have stayed at Cottonwood Lodge a few times a year for the past 4 years. What a great place to stay. It's very hard to find such value for money so close to the snow fields!! The owners are very welcoming and there is plenty of room to relax after a hard days skiing! The cleanliness of the rooms... More

For $138/night, you expect things to be clean. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been occupied or cleaned for the last 3 months. The sink was dusty and the floors dirty. The sheets had stains. The walls were paper thin. Unfortunately, the family that stayed next to us had a baby. It cried all night and all morning, so we were... More

I made a reservation for one night at the Cottonwood Lodge at late notice. Jindabynes cheapest accommodation for a solo traveller for one night exceeding $270. Berridale is 20 mins from Jindabyne and a very easy drive at that, the lodge is situated in the heart of Berridale and easy to find. I was welcomed professionally and given a small... More

Cottonwood Lodge is the perfect stay on the way to the snow. The hosts are friendly, the rooms tidy and comfy, the continental breakfast plentiful and only an 10mins to Jindabyne and under an hour to the snow. I will stay here again.

Wonderful hosts, breakfast included and plentiful. Plenty of parking, easy to find and warm hospitable welcome. Our room was at the exit and we never heard anyone coming or going. Room was a little tiny but had everything we needed. Bathroom was new but it took ages for the hot water to reach us. We'd stay again.
