For good reasons Karen and Klaus are rated #1 at the Green Bay Lodge. As mentioned in many posts. They deliver a great product in a warm, genuine and caring way. They go above and beyond. The resort is spotless and beautiful. Highly recommend!

My husband and I spent 3 days with Klaus and Karen in their gorgeous studio suite. We had spent the previous couple of weeks in a tent so to have this lovely location as a holiday finale was perfect. Klaus and Karen were so welcoming we felt right at home. Although we did not take advantage of the canoe or...

We spent five nights at the Green Bay Lodge and loved it. The studio unit in the chalet is bright and spacious and extremely comfortable. The view of the lake is lovely and such a pleasure to look out at. There is plenty of space to sit and relax on the grounds and although the lodge is secluded it is...

We found the accommodations and the host (Klaus and Karen), to be exactly as advertised, as in their website and from the positive reviews of past guest. We came to the island to explore and both Klaus and Karen provided us with excellent suggestions...

My partner and I spent two nights recently at the Green Bay Lodge, on the shore of beautiful Lake Manitou on Manitoulin Island. The location is truly breathtaking and even though we were wondering where the heck we were headed when driving the road to get here, when you reach the end of the road, you all of a sudden...

We stayed at the Green Bay Lodge for a few days (Sept. 17-20, 2014) and we enjoyed it a lot. If you want to rest from it all, this is a place to visit. It is a secluded oasis of peace and tranquility with beautiful views of Lake Manitou and the property itself. It is meticulously maintained, with flower gardens...
