Found it once we gave up on the Sat Nav. The streets are close together and the Sat Nav could keep up. Very central for the ferry point and far enough away from the town centre. Lovely rooms, we had a family flat which had 2 doubles and a twin bedrooms, which shared a shower/toilet room. plenty of wardrobe space,... More

Stayed here for the recent passing out parade in HMS Raleigh. First of all the hosts were brilliant. They were courteous, friendly and there if you needed then. The breakfast is great, rooms are a decent size and everything is clean and in order. It's located just up the road from Torpoint ferry and if you are visiting HMS Raleigh... More

My son was doing a drill competition at HMS Raleigh, and Cambridge House is a mere 5 minutes by car from the base. My daughter and I drove up from South Wales and the owners were kind enough to stay open well past checking in time to let us in. The room was small but clean and warm. My daughter... More

We stayed the night here before visiting HMS Raleigh for a passing out parade, and it is ideal for that. The owners are very friendly and helpful. However, the accommodation is very average. The ensuite was tiny and the room itself seemed a bit 'tired'. It was very noisy, we could clearly listen to the family talking in the next... More

We used this B&B while clearing out my Aunt's flat while she had gone into a nursing home, Trish & Rob were excellent hosts, would highly recommend & would definitely use again. I am vegetarian, caffeine & gluten free - this was not a problem at all.

Stayed at Cambridge House when attending a pass out at HMS Raleigh (it's ideally situated for that). A lovely and clean b&b with a very polite and helpful landlady serving an excellent breakfast. Don't expect great Cornish views as it is positioned in the town of Torpoint amongst residential properties. Don't let that put you of though because all in... More

I read a review on here and somebody said the mattress was awful a while ago and the owner replied saying they would buy a new one - Well they have NOT at least not in room 2 !! The mattress was interior sprung but old and collapsed you could feel every spring in the bed and it creaked with... More

Of course I am deeply distressed to hear that you had such a bad night, this is the first time that I have been told that the bed in the room was so uncomfortable, indeed most people tell me how comfortable the bed is!! We have Made a lot of head way since taking over in March and have refurbished... More

I have stayed a number of times while working in the area and find Cambridge House to be comfortable and very clean, with an excellent breakfast. Trish and Rob are most welcoming and helpful. Parking directly outside the door is both easy and safe. Some of the rooms are on the second floor but the climb is not too strenuous... More

We have stayed in Cambridge house for 3 night in August. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. On the arrival we have been given plenty of information about local attraction, dinning etc. Our room was spotlessly clean, our bed and towels were changed every day. The breakfast was very tasty and freshly cooked. We've enjoyed our stay and we... More

This is a lovely B&B. Trish (the owner) is very welcoming. We had a room at the top of the building, which meant a lot of stairs, which was fine for us, but if you have mobility issues you might want to take this into account. (They do state on their website that there are stairs only :) ) The... More
