We are situated in a spectacular location at the Lizard in Cornwall. A lovely sandy cove nestles beneath the Hotel, and the Cornish Coast Path runs through the gardens and cliff lands. A place in which to walk, to eat and drink well and to set aside the cares of the world. Unspoilt scenery, outstanding cuisine (AA Rosette and RAC Dining Award) and a healthy lifestyle, we are also home to Britain's most southerly webcam.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for New Year, arriving on the 30th and leaving on the 3rd. Our stay obviously included the New Year festivities which were outstanding - an 8 course taster menu with a wine flight. Topped off with 15 minutes of fireworks at midnight! My wife

Stayed here with my wife via a Travelzoo package and delighted with this hotel and restaurant. Location excellent right above Housel Bay 10 minutes walk from Lizard village which has two very contrasting pubs. Great coastal walk to Cadgwith Cove takes about an hour or so

We stayed at Housel Bay Hotel over Christmas. The hotel has gorgeous views from the rooms, the restaurant, and the terrace/cafe. The staff are helpful and friendly and always seem to go the extra mile for guests. There is a cosy bar with a log fire. We had the Christmas lunch..

Redruth is nearest station. Busses can go from there. Walking is the best form of transport around the hotel . Best contact the hotel for more advice.

Sorry for such a delayed response, as you can imagine this time of year is very busy for us! We are more than happy to cater for children and would not dare treat anyone differently for bringing their kids. As a previous comment states the Hotel grounds are very safe for children to play and run around in and we also have a great selection of traditional board games that you can enjoy in our comfortable residents lounge. You have made a wise choice to stay in one of our sea view rooms, the vista is remarkable and I'm sure you will enjoy waking up to it. I hope this has reassured you so you can continue to look forward to your stay. See you soon and thanks for posting your question. Manager.
