Detailed Reviews
The Old Temperance House is in a fantastic location right in the centre of St Keverne in the Square next to the Church. Its a very quiet location, with comfortable spacious ensuite rooms . Our room was overlooking square. The breakfast was served in the room and was to our exact requirements and delicious. The owners Kevin and Claire went out of their way to make us feel very welcome and all our diatery needs were met with breakfast, it is a fantastic location to explore the Lizard area of Cornwall. There is even a little shop open daily nearby and plenty of eating places and pubs within walking distance, I would definately recommend this B&B, clean, friendly, comfortable and great hosts.

We booked the room called 'Baileys' which is large & overlooks the square. The decor is very tastefully done. It also had a large bathroom with a bath( I like my bubble baths) As we are still in the Covid era, breakfast was served in our room & I looked forward to Kevin's knock on the door each morning to see our delicious breakfast. We had the full English , my husband also tried the Cornish continental & I was lucky enough to have smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on the Sunday. All perfectly cooked & presented. The room has all the finishing touches & Kevin has plenty of chat & banter. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & highly recommend it.

Just spent 4 nights in this delightful B&B. Stylish decor, spotlessly clean and a location which is perfect for exploring the wonderful Cornish coastline. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of full English cooked or freshly prepared fruit with clotted cream and croissant. Very pleasant host who made us feel most welcome. Much recommended.

Our hosts, Kevin and Clare, provided a warm, cozy experience and fantastic breakfasts at this historic inn. It’s located right on the square in Keverne, with a couple of restaurants close by. Our room was large and beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. There were no downsides. It’s in the heart of Cornwall and we had the best time exploring the area on foot and by car. Don’t miss the Cornish pasties at Gear Farm.

Have just spent 2 nights at this wonderfull venue for a wedding.
The place is immaculate without being uncomfortable, the breakfasts sublime ( if you stay Sunday do opt for the Salmon & eggs)
The room, whilst a little on the small side but I was on my own as the dear lady wife had to stay home due to a family a emergency , was immaculate with 2 very comfortable single beds & a private bathroom just over the landing. Robes are provided should you wish.
The village is delightful with the OTH sat in the vilage aquare together with the church & the pubs.
Probably the best wedding I have ever attended & the accommodation certainly contributed to that.
To my hosts, many thanks.

Had a wonderful stay at this B and B. Kev and Claire very friendly and welcoming.
Situated in a little Cornish village but a great location for exploring The Lizard to Lands End and on into St Ives.
Very accommodating with breakfast requests and rooms were so clean and fresh and comfortable.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. Kev and Claire, we're the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. It was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely be back again. St Kerverne is a lovely spot to travel around from

What can I say, this was a real find. Nestled in a lovely little village with a nice pub across the way and my now fav restaurant the Greenhouse a stones throw away. Clive and his good lady wife were excellent hosts with an excellent breakfast menu, help with planning walks around the Lizard and the rooms were beyond clean (immaculate). A great place to stay.
