This is a comfortable and clean B&B. The bed is very comfortable and the ensuite spacious. The hostess is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Some smaller things mean not getting 5/5. No toiletries are provided, which will catch some guests out. In the middle of summer only one 500ml bottle of water is provided between two people and blinds let... More

Lovely week spent at Applecroft B&B. Room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Couldn't fault anything and would hope to stay again in the future. Perfect location. Thank you to Tony for a lovely stay.

Very comfortable stay with friendly host. Great location close to the bay. We stayed in the garden room which was very peaceful and quiet. Loved the big fluffy bathrobes in the room. Wifi was good. Only criticism is the instant coffee, a cafetière or coffee machine would be a welcome addition. A shelf in the shower for toiletries would also... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in applecroft for 3 nights. We have mixed feelings about it and I will explain below. What we enjoyed: -the lady was really nice and friendly and really pleasant to talk to -we got good recommendations for the local area -clean -nice comfortable bed -they did provide the breakfast we requested (I just wanted beans... Stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful room, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, well-cooked and piping hot. Tony was a perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. The position is ideal for visiting the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. A few minutes walk from the lovely sandy beach and Sam's Beach Bar. Highly recommended

Stayed for 3 nights.. Greeted by a very pleasant gentleman who gave me a quick guided tour of the property. Once I got into the room I found it was very spacious with a large king size bed (very comfy) good quality of in room amenities with high quality HD TV. Breakfast each morning was wholesome and of great quality,... More

We have just returned from St Austell Cornwall where we stayed with Teresa and Tony at their lovely establishment, this is the second time we have used the facilities of the Applecroft. The reviews of the place are true in every way, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, great cooked breakfasts, lovely rooms and facilities and very friendly hosts eager to ensure... More

We had the Garden room, which was meticulously clean, quite spacious and well provisioned with coffee/tea things, hair dryer and terry robes. We had a private sitting area on the deck overlooking the back garden. Hosts were very welcoming and suggested nearby restaurants as we had not booked breakfast. FAB Carlyon Beach was a 5-minute walk away, and historic Charlestown... More

Having splashed out on a stay in a country house the night before, we had an excellent stay that was value for money. Very comfortable bed and a few minutes walk from the sea at Carlyon Bay. Breakfast was well cooked and we could come and go as we pleased as there was a separate entrance. Restaurant near by 'Austells'... More

What an absolute gem of a bed and breakfast. The room was absolutely spotless. We were lucky to have Room 3 which is the largest of the 2 en suites. (Room 2 is not en suite but does have it's own bathroom directly opposite the small landing corridor.) The bed was so comfortable and the crisp white bedding so inviting.... More
