Let me begin by saying the parking is very limitted and the spaces not very large. We took the last space in the carpark but the wonan at reception said we were more than welcome to take her space at the rear of the hotel - 2 other cars had parked there before we returned. In the end we parked... More

From the moment we arrived the staff were all so friendly and efficient. We had a lovely time with an easy walk into town. Wifi was good, food and wine excellent. Breakfast was a variety of English and cereal was included in the good value price. Would definitely recommend.

Fab cocktails here and very reasonably priced (means we could have more !!) Food is beautiful, from the home made steak pie - with fresh veg - to the Fish pie, steaks, prawn salad etc, all delicious. Highly recommend The White Hart, breakfast is lush too .... Enjoy peeps :-)

We stopped by here by chance after wondering around the town and fancied some food on a Sunday. The Sunday lunch was amazing, good price for the main and dessert and very good size portions. We went back the Friday later in the week for dinner and sampled something else which again was amazing, hats off to the chef!! Staff... More

Booked through booking.com as we couldn't get the b&b we wanted, wasn't sure what to expect-what a find! Right in the middle of St. Austell & near lots of attractions i.e. Eden Project & Wheal Martin. The room was of a high standard & staff friendly, yet professional. The breakfasts excellent, bar food excellent & food in their restaurant Whites,... More

Visited here on the 12th of July for lunch. Served by a young chap with blonde hair who couldn't have been more polite. Ordered soup to start, broccoli and Stilton. Gorgeous!! Then a small burger as a main again lovely! Offered more drinks after our starters. It's the little things that make a good place into a great place. Anyone... More

We only stayed for one night but everything was pretty much perfect. Room 6 was excellently decorated and the attention to detail in the room and en suite was very impressive. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again.

I was initially wary because I wanted to stay in the centre of St.Austell and was surprised to find none of the usual chains convenient and I am really glad I tried this hotel. It is owned by the St.Austell Brewery and the staff are really friendly and polite, courteous and helpful. My room was very comfortable but even better the food was... Beautiful place to stay. Amazing staff... knowledgeable, and very helpful. The bar staff were very good, (an amazing gin selection) !! Our rooms had just been redecorated, and very comfortable. Loved the big square head rain shower. A 13th century old coaching house originally, with quite a bit of history. Lovely town, with a local brewery. Take the tour!! We... More
