We stayed in the Annex due to a double booking and because of the mix-up we were provided with food for the next three days breakfast though we had to cook it for our-self which was no real problem and we could have it at our convenience. The Annex was clean tidy and well turned out, the only fault we... More

My wife and I had a fantastic weekend away celebrating our wedding anniversary and we stayed at the Providence Farm in Carthew, St Austell. We were certainly not disappointed with the lovely comfortable stay, with all the usual facilities and a well provided hearty breakfast, ranging from fruit juice, various cereals to a great full cook English breakfast that will... We choose this not knowing the area and with the power of hindsight probably wouldn't have chosen to stay here; it's not in a great location to be honest. Our room was fine, the bed wasn't that great (in comparison to other places we've been to), the bathroom had carpet which is a big NO and a strange grey soil... More

This a well kept B&B in a nice setting. The rooms do have slanted ceilings as they are in the loft but are comfortable with windows that keep out the sound of the road outside. Breakfast is good with fresh produce but is very minimal and it does not come with baked beans!!! The owner is very pleasant and keeps... More

The B&B is run by a friendly couple. The room we stayed in faced the front of the house overlooking wildlife and a beautiful hilly landscape. The breakfast offers a good selection of cereal, yoghurt, toast and fruit as well as a fry up. Very clean and tidy. Only few miles from some of the most scenic villages we've ever... More

Very welcoming, comfortable accommodation for a two night stay in order to visit the Eden Project. We would have gladly stayed longer if we hadn't needed to return to vote in the General Election! Easy to locate and a very enjoyable pot of tea with homemade cake on arrival. Super breakfast with great choice and good recommendations for nearby restaurants... More

We spent two nights here, the location was gorgeous, room was super, breakfast very good and the hostess- though having a broken collar bone- couldn't have been more welcoming. There were horses, chickens and dogs to satisfy our inner countryfolk. We would gladly stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and occupied both the rooms. These rooms were so quaint, with beams and steps. (Just mind your head in the Rose room, and watch the steps to the bathroom in Cornflower room) They were very clean and well maintained, good quality linens and towels. The gardens were beautifully laid out and there was a... More

A beautiful farmhouse, room and en suite had the wow factor. Lorraine was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. She helped us book a local restaurant on our first night which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and eggs from there own hens!

Stayed as a group of 4 and both rooms were very cosy and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming with lots of good advice regarding places to eat and drink etc. Wonderful cooked breakfast with a lovely choice of cereals and tea/coffee.. the eggs were from the owners chickens which all adds to the farmhouse feel!! A good location and... More
