Travelled to visit my Daddy in SA, Friday 22nd (school break up). Spoke to 'Bill' the proprieter, and he assured me that coming from Herts (on a motorbike), he would rather us arrive safe and sound, that us race to get to the Guest House at a reasonable hour. That in itself was our first positive. Arrived at 8.30, three... More

Hard to find on arrival. Didn't receive the best welcome and didn't know where to park initially as no off road parking. Free wi fi. Separate beds unfortunately but comfortable. But quite outdated room. Breakfast was alright and host was more welcoming by morning.

We had a nice large room with en-suite bathroom (with carpets!!). It was very clean. Breakfast was good. There was a balcony with old rusty chair and a dirty floor, but a nice view of the garden and area around.

This guesthouse is just a short walk to the station/bus station and town centre. The owners, Sue and Bill, were so friendly that I really felt at home, and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a B&B! I had a single room which was quite spacious, with plenty of room for clothes etc. and a... More

Bill and Sue were welcoming and the rooms were lovely, upgrading us to an en-suite when we arrived. The location was also ideal as it's a good walk to St. Austell and Charlestown with excellent recommendations of dining choices from Bill. The only downside was that the TV couldn't get signal from BBC in our room but that was a... More

Karmary Guest House is great value for money and excellently located just a short walk from St Austell railway station and town centre. My room was big, beautifully done up and very comfortable and peaceful. Sue and Bill, the owners, are so kind and welcoming and helpful with everything — they do an excellent breakfast, too. A lovely base for... More

The nice owner couple made us feel like at home. Gave lots of advice about visiting and dinning in the area, specially Charlestown and the St Austell Bay. Our room on the ground floor was very large, with a bay window and lots of sunlight. The excellent shower was one of the best in the U.K., with lots of pressure... More

The location of this B&B is really good. It is in a residential area making the nights quiet and approx. 2 miles from the local shopping/restaurants/cinema complex (outdoors). There are various beaches in the area and Bill will be happy to advise on which ones to visit. The cost of our on suite twin room was £70 per night, the... More

Quiet environment, located at a small road with a small signage. Also several different room styles. The rooms near to the road is better decorated with private toilets. Other rooms need to share the common toilet and bathroom,
