The hardworking hosts are making a real success of this above average B & B. They are very hospitable and keen to please. The accommodation is clean and well equipped and the breakfasts choices are comprehensive, freshly prepared and incorporate home made preserves, local produce and are generous setting you up for a days sight seeing. From the initial welcome to the time of departure everything about our stay was superb. The room was comfortable and homely, the dinners and breakfasts were incredible and the setting was stunning. Guests are made to feel welcome to the point of feeling like part of the family but the professionalism of Francesca, Mark and the team was evident at...

What an amazing place, a proper hidden gem. From the moment we arrived we (and our dog, Todd) were made to feel welcome. Although Francesca and Marc have only been here since 2011 the amount of work they have put into this place is amazing. The gardens with their ponds, waterfalls, seating areas and magnificent plants is a joy and...

What a lovely place. Beautifully clean and very welcoming. Breakfast each day was excellent....as was the evening meal that we opted to have. An excellent menu and really high quality food. ....VERY reasonable cost. Very convenient for Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. We would definitely return to The Waterwheel. Lovely place and lovely people.
