Jeanie and Ted (the Legend) were the perfect hosts for our short stay in St Agnes last month. We're walking the South West Coast Path and this is definitely in the top 3 B&Bs for the first 200 miles. Stonking good breakfast, comfortable and well equipped rooms, and importantly a really warm welcome. Thank you guys!

Myself and my parents, one of whom has mobility problems, had a very nice stay. Jeannie and Ted made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Excellent English breakfast! Ted provided some excellent directions for a hike that I took.

I'm a reasonably regular visitor to St Agnes and have stayed in a few B&B's over the last 18 months. This was certainly a great choice and I would recommend to family and friends. It's classic British B&B style but with one difference - the service was perfect!!! The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating of my requests and couldn't... More

Two of us stayed for one night at Cleaderscroft. Our room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was extraordinary with fresh fruit and yogurt as a possible choice - delicious and a nice supplement/substitute for the standard full English. The whole house is interestingly decorated with all sorts of little gadgets (yet without looking messy, which... More

9 of us Canadian Gals stayed here and had an amazing time. Jeanne could not do enough for us, Each evening we sat out on our patio and enjoyed the garden. Would stay there again in a minute.. We were on a week hiking tour and it was lovely to come home each day to Cleaderscroft.

Within walking distance of the beach and several good restaurants Cleaderscroft is very well located. It has a large car park which is very useful as parking is not easy elsewhere in the centre of the village. Our room was spacious and the bed was VERY comfortable. Large as well! The en-suite had a good shower and lots of towels,... More

Wonderful rambling victorian house which has been cleverly converted into a very comfortable and welcoming hotel. We stayed in the family annexe in the main house. Loads of space with a seperate sitting room area with tea making facilities (topped up every day) a small fridge just out side the door. Also a bed settee if needed. Large bedroom with... More

Recently returned from a short stay here and it really is a hotel with a difference, it's like a museum. Ginnie, the owner, by her own admission, is a horder and every public room is full of her collections of items from hats, brushes, china to comptometer machines. She will also regale you with funny tales from the past of... More

Have had a lovely time at Cleaders. Nothing is too much trouble for Ted and Jeanie. This hotel is sparklingly clean, my room had an amazingly comfortable bed and there were plenty of soft fluffy towels. Decor is elegant and traditional with some fascinating touches in keeping with the building's history. It's just a stone's throw from a great traditional... More
